Kris Woods & ZU Delivers “Go With It”

Published

on

Over the past few years, Sacramento rappers have put their city on the map and show the entire industry that they should be taken seriously as one of the most creative and influential cities. Rappers Kris Woods & ZU prove that point on their latest single “Go Wit It,”; an infectious, catchy single on the forefront of their latest project “Outspoken, Vol. 1”. The project is a culmination of their entire team’s hard work, Spoken Status Entertainment, led by managers Andre  & Marcus Robinson.

Today the duo drops off the visuals to the single, and we are excited to see how fans react and their next moves. The playful lyrics in the song are a nod to their charismatic personalities and desire for people to take life a little less seriously amid all of the madness surrounding us. What inspired Kris was “just being around fun people and creating good energy because I make music from my own life experiences, and I wanted to make a record that people can bounce to wherever they’re at.”

The instrumental is packed with super smooth melodies and hard-hitting bass drums that are sure to bring the listener back wanting to bump this record over and over. This is the first music video from the collective’s debut project, and we are looking forward to seeing what is next for these rising Sac-town superstars.

R&B Songstress Liyah Shares Debut Sonic Visual “Always There”

17-year-old songstress and independent artist Liyah drops the visual for her debut single “Always There.” The song is a harmonious effort that displays Liyah’s talents and skills in a way that audiences have yet to see from her. The Toronto native brings a unique sound to the R&B industry, while keeping her lyrics original and different. She stands apart from her peers in that she brings a pop blend to her music — making for a catchy tune that is sure to be on repeat all day.

“It’s a song about realizing your worth as an individual and wanting to be valued in your relationship,” Liyah said in a recent interview.

Despite the song being about a love interest who is making Liyah feel insignificant, her short yet vibrant dance routines and boisterous vibe add to the catchy feel of the song.

Liyah begins the visual walking into a dance studio reminiscing about her lover and vibing with two dancers. As the song builds up to the hook, the audience gets quick clips that tease her dancing in the studio. Given that she’s named after the late great Aliyah, it seems only fair that she’d be sporting 90s inspired parachute pants and a white crop top.

After the hook, the young singer alternates between hanging out in a car with friends and dancing in the studio alongside backup dancers. All in all, Liyah is able to channel a very 90s vibe for her visual while still maintaining a modern feel that could make a fan out of anyone.

Big Jade brings a whole new meaning to femme fatale in this X-rated heater. Armed with blunt force bars and a fierce attitude (all while slaying in an all-black outfit accessorized with a Gucci belt #yasssss), the Beaumont, Texas native lets her dude know she has invited him over for one thing and one thing only. Things get even steamier when she switches into lingerie to help her to reiterate to her boy toy that no man can handle her and that she’ll wear him out like a Gucci bag.

“Gucci Bag” is Jade’s first official single since the release of Respectfully,” a brash banger featuring BeatKing (who also produced the track) and his “Then Leave” duet partner Queendome Come. Both “Gucci Bag” and “Respectfully” will appear on Jade’s upcoming debut project.
