Up-and-coming Rapper Ybillz Is Taking The Stage

Published

on

Born and raised in Chicago, up-and-coming artist Ybillz is focused on taking the stage by being himself— raw, unedited, and uncut. The 28-year-old rapper might have first started making music in 2017, but he officially began rapping about 10 years ago, indulging in the passion for fun. Today, 4 years after making the decision to turn his craft into a career, Ybillz has built a following on social media, expanded his audience, and collaborated with other upcoming artists such as King Bishop and DTE, all while creating music that his fans can tune in and relate to. “My life, the things I see, the experiences, my feelings, my highs, my lows, and my culture,” he says on his sources of musical inspiration. His latest visual for his song “Pressure”, out now on Youtube, only continues to demonstrate the passion he has for his work.

Indeed, Ybillz plans to get bigger and better than ever, maintaining his integrity and humility through and through. For Ybillz, this means making every day count— one of the many quotes the artist lives by. When he’s not working or in the studio, Ybillz is spending time with his family. He also gives back to the community with his participation and contributions to CeaseFire Chicago, a public health program that uses community-based strategies to prevent and reduce gun violence in the city. “[Giving back to the community] is important because coming up, I didn’t have much,” he reflects.

Now aiming to become one of the biggest rap artists in the industry, Ybillz is focused on living life to the fullest— giving back to the community and enjoying the money, clothes, and cars, but also veering into real estate and countless other projects. For Ybillz, there are limitless opportunities on the horizon. “Follow your heart and don’t let no one tell you what you can and can’t do,” he advises other up-and-coming artists. “Figure it out for yourself.”

Stream and watch Ybillz’s song and new visual “Pressure” on Youtube and Soundcloud, as well as his other music available to stream on both platforms! To stay up-to-date on him and his work, follow his Instagram @Ybillz and Twitter @YbillzBMBM— you won’t want to miss it!
