Published

on

Today, rising hip-hop artist Blxst teams up with multi-platinum artist and rapper Russ for the music video of their hit single, “Fck Boys.” Out now via Red Bull Records, the single has amassed over 10 million streams globally and was featured on Blxst’s two-track EP Just For Clarity, a surprise drop the LA musician unveiled to fans last month.

The seductive and steamy visuals show Blxst and Russ singing to their respective love interests, treating them to the finer things in life after they’ve been hurt time and time again. Led by a rhythmic flurry of guitar chord progressions, the R&B-driven production highlights the chemistry between both artists while giving each of them the space to flex their slick lyricism and soulful melodies.

Garnering praise from BETBillboardComplexGeniusPitchforkXXL, and more, Blxst has solidified himself as the next multi-hyphenate artist to watch from the West Coast. Following the breakout success of his debut EP, No Love Lost, last year, the project and its deluxe counterpart – which featured collaborations from Ty Dolla $ign, Tyga, Dom Kennedy, and Bino Rideaux – has hit over 180 million streams worldwide. Spending an impressive 20-plus weeks on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart with a #3 peak position, the project’s hit single “Overrated” broke into the Top 50 on the Shazam Top 200 while bursting into the Top 25 on the Mediabase Rhythmic and Urban radio charts.
