GNispey Releases ‘Glock Boy’ Project

‘Glock Boy’ from rising east coast star GNipsey is an example of taking a current trend in hip hop, Drill, and adding a bit of hometown flair. Hailing from the “The Port,” the trenches of Cambridge, Massachusetts, GNipsey doesn’t sugarcoat the content in his music. He spits amazing bars with his unique voice, which is a hit with the ladies, but the fellas can relate to it because GNipsey makes drills multidimensional.
His latest release, ‘Glockboy,’ encompasses fourteen intricate hitting cuts that evoke the essence of making out the hood and achieve a level of transparency to help bring awareness to what his colleagues got through growing up in the projects. GNipsey’s distinct voice and talent in executing drill cadences give this project excellent replayability to cultivate into a much bigger movement for his home of Cambridge very soon.
‘Glock Boy’ is on all DSPs, and it’s a must listen to us here at 4Sho Magazine.

Cheryl B. Engelhardt Drops Soothing Instrumental LP ‘The Passenger’

Cheryl B. Engelhardt has released her instrumental new age album, ‘The Passenger’ on all platforms. A reflection on loss, grief, and the healing process, “The Passenger” was written from a figurative place of transition while also literally traveling by train.
When composer Cheryl B. Engelhardt’s dearest friend and collaborator died of stage four cancer, Engelhardt decided to spend nine days in a train “roomette” processing these emotions through her healing and reflective instrumental songwriting. The cross-country trip resulted in this evocative and gentle collection of nine meditative compositions which have already landed the #1 Best-Selling Album on Amazon.
Collaborators included in “The Passenger” include GRAMMY-winning artists Lili Haydn, Sangeeta Kaur and Danaë Xanthe Vlasse, world-renowned flutist Sherry Finzer and Dallas String Quartet. It is one of a handful of ambient albums composed, mixed and mastered by women.
