42 Dugg Teams Up With Roddy Ricch For Electrifying New Song “4 Da Gang”

Published

on

Today, hip-hop artist 42 Dugg announced the release of his new single “4 Da Gang (feat. Roddy Ricch),” an electrifying new single that showcases the Detroit native’s versatility by sampling German Rock Band Scorpion’s 1982 classic hit, “No One Like You.”

Dugg and Roddy add their own flair to the legendary rock record that was flipped and produced by TayTayMadeIt. It was only fitting that Dugg unveiled the mega collaboration – his first new solo release of 2021 – on 4/2.

4 Da Gang comes on the heels of a busy stretch for Dugg, who recently appeared on projects for a bevy of established and rising stars, including Meek Mill’s Quarantine Pack, Big Sean’s Detroit 2, EST Gee’s I Still Don’t Feel Nun, DDG & OG Parker’s Die 4 Respect, Lil Migo’s King of The Trap, and more.

Dugg has blossomed into one of hip-hop’s hottest budding superstars with his gritty lyrics, fluid flow and trademark whistle, dating back to the release of his acclaimed Young & Turnt 2 project in March 2020 that debuted on the Billboard 200 chart, peaked at No. 6 on Billboard’s Independent Album chart and earned over 200 million+ streams since the release.

His profile skyrocketed as he secured two Billboard Hot 100 placements for his collaborations with Lil Baby on “Grace” and “We Paid” — the latter was undoubtedly one of the songs of 2020 and led to Dugg’s first nationally-televised performance at the 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards. The video for “We Paid” even landed in VEVO’s list of the 10 most-watched hip-hop videos of the year, alongside Drake and Future

Chicago entertainer Korporate released the new single “Havin’ Shit” today. Produced by D. Brooks Exclusive (NBA Youngboy, Dreezy, Lil Durk,) the new single finds Korporate in true form, delivering slick wordplay and hilarious punchlines.

Known for #BlackChicagoBeLike and other viral skits, music has always been Korporate’s first love. While comedic content pays the bills plus more, it was originally developed as a marketing ploy to drive traffic to his music. After studying the digital space and analyzing what types of content are shared the most, Korporate thought to himself “what if I became the meme that was shared” – thus, Korporate Bidness, and his journey as a content creator and digital entertainer began.

Q. Garvin is coming off the heels of his Olympian boxer Troy Isley approved Come N Find Me” with a different styleThis time around, Q is showing a more genuine side to himself. His heartfelt moderate-paced record, “Quaker Lane Flows,” is stripped down so that you feel every lyric. The overly honest record features mentions of essential people in his life, his heartbreaks, and his family. Growing up as a black man, there are many various stresses and pressure that they feel. This song speaks to those feelings without running from them. He admits his mistakes in the Drake-Esque vulnerable style track.

Q has been through a lot. Disagreements with family, leaving school early, and other misfires have led him to this point. At the end of the record, you hear a lady friend send a smooth voicemail that seemed to inspire the calming record. Not everyone is going to feel you. Q. Garvin stays solid because he knows that his closest friends will always have his back. He will never fail because he will never give up. With the holidays coming around, these reflective records seem to hit differently.

Listen through to the deep solo track from the Virginia rapper now!
