42 Dugg Teams Up With Roddy Ricch For Electrifying New Song “4 Da Gang”

Published

on

Today, hip-hop artist 42 Dugg announced the release of his new single “4 Da Gang (feat. Roddy Ricch),” an electrifying new single that showcases the Detroit native’s versatility by sampling German Rock Band Scorpion’s 1982 classic hit, “No One Like You.”

Dugg and Roddy add their own flair to the legendary rock record that was flipped and produced by TayTayMadeIt. It was only fitting that Dugg unveiled the mega collaboration – his first new solo release of 2021 – on 4/2.

4 Da Gang comes on the heels of a busy stretch for Dugg, who recently appeared on projects for a bevy of established and rising stars, including Meek Mill’s Quarantine Pack, Big Sean’s Detroit 2, EST Gee’s I Still Don’t Feel Nun, DDG & OG Parker’s Die 4 Respect, Lil Migo’s King of The Trap, and more.

Dugg has blossomed into one of hip-hop’s hottest budding superstars with his gritty lyrics, fluid flow and trademark whistle, dating back to the release of his acclaimed Young & Turnt 2 project in March 2020 that debuted on the Billboard 200 chart, peaked at No. 6 on Billboard’s Independent Album chart and earned over 200 million+ streams since the release.

His profile skyrocketed as he secured two Billboard Hot 100 placements for his collaborations with Lil Baby on “Grace” and “We Paid” — the latter was undoubtedly one of the songs of 2020 and led to Dugg’s first nationally-televised performance at the 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards. The video for “We Paid” even landed in VEVO’s list of the 10 most-watched hip-hop videos of the year, alongside Drake and Future
