“Sinful Saints” Shows Sinful Pleasure from East To West Coast duo Rasheed Chappell And XP The Marxman
Rasheed Chappell of the East and XP the Marxman join forces together to bring out a nostalgic, groovy track titled “Sinful Saints,” which is one of the lead singles of their upcoming collaboration LP ‘RX.’ Fans of sounds from classic groups such as A Tribe Called Quest and The Clipse so be at home with both emcees spitting punchlines while accompanied by a classic hip hop beat which bodes to warm up fans to their forthcoming collaboration project which you can find out more about below.
Rasheed Chappell and XP The Marxman were just two MCs on either coast, east (NY) and west (LA), until XP posted about personal issues. Feeling a kinship with his fellow MC and having gone through similar trials and tribulations, Rasheed messaged XP and offered a message of hope. From that empathetic gesture grew a friendship and respect for each other’s craft; in short order, a full album and their best work to date had been created.
Two halves of the same coin, each MC is bringing their experience and perspective of Hip Hop to the table – Rasheed’s of the African-American experience in the northeast and XP’s of the Mexican experience in the city of LA. Both MC’s paint vivid pictures of street culture with equally dangerous wordplay and nuance worthy of the buzz term “connoisseur rap.”
‘RX’ releases on November 17th and features production from Roc Marciano, Buckwild, Reckonize Real, and more.
