Remembering Mac Miller: Five Of Our Favorite Videos

Published

on

There will never be another Mac Miller; an artist by the truest sense, constantly evolving his craft as he experienced the darkest sides of the human spectrum. For nearly a decade, Mac’s pen was one of the deadliest, his videos some of the game’s most creative, and albums some of the most inventive regardless of genre. His death impacts hip-hop extremely hard. In his honor, we’re picking out five of our favorite videos of his to pay tribute to his memory.

One of the smoothest, chillest, videos you’ll ever see. The ideal day for those stuck in class. One of my favorite songs of all time with the video to match.

He may have gotten into some slight trouble with the Celebrity-In-Chief that occupies the office now but this was a moment, nonetheless.

If you didn’t know that Mac Miller could spit, this was the track to inform anyone confused. The boom bap production was the perfect back drop for Mac’s dizzying flows. He bodied it, as he frequently did.

You could extrapolate Mac’s growing pain through this video’s claustrophobic air. Mac’s ability to make us feel his pain made fans even more invested in his story.

Another of Mac’s more creative videos, “S.D.S.” found Mac in a plethora of situations, making the most out of his video’s budget. The song itself was extremely chill, so the craziness of the video made it even harder to digest.
