@Kafar_Myers Shares His Purpose In Newest Project “Hope Dies Last” Produced By Nino

Author, business owner, poet, rapper, philanthropist, and activist, Kafar Myers is doing it all. In celebration of his newest release EP, “6 Below,” we are getting to know more about Kafar Myers as his path to greatness is only expanding. Coming from the city of Rahway, New Jersey, Kafar is an independent artist working to make his name known to everybody. Currently living in Tobyhanna, PA, Kafar did reside in various areas in his past such as Linden, Elizabeth, Rahway, and finally moved to where he currently resides. Although he did move away from New Jersey, he constantly found himself back there, spending almost every summer till he was about 20 years old.

Kafar stated that the inspiration behind his Kafar Myers name came from a dream he had, he further states; “Well I had a dream it was a empty old coliseum but somehow I heard chants of Kafar Kafar Kafar! So I decided to go by Kafar it felt powerful and I got Myers from my grandfather who past it was his last name I always remembered him playing a instrument and listening to so much music and he was so smooth so in honor of that side of the family I merged them together and Got Kafar Myers . It then gave a feel of relatability, it felt like everyone that’s aiming to be bigger then there environment, anyone who is a outcast anyone who has a purpose can be Kafar Myers.”

Similar to the meaning behind his name, his music is another description of his overall purpose with his art; Kafar would describe his music as pain mixed with soul sprinkled in poetry baked with heavy thoughts and served with passion. He writes and is beginning to engineer his own stuff at his home studio, Kafar wishes to dive deeper into the art and be more hands on with as much as he can possibly do.

Beginning his musical journey between the ages of 11 and 12 years old, Kafar did not actually start taking music seriously until he was between the ages of 14 and 15. There, he began to put songs out on SoundCloud where he had the realization that his music was making an impact on other people, more specifically, he realized that people were relating to his music and were listening to his music on a regular basis. He has gotten even more excited after a fan messaged him after they have listened to the single, “Truly Beauty,” and told Kafar that it made them cry and were able to love themselves more. This got Kafar really inspired and became a core motive for him.

His music is much more than sound… it’s a revolution. A revolution to create more love, a revolution to create more inspiration for others besides yourself. It’s all about passion and finding love and faith every day. Kafar states, “Music after love and faith is the most strongest thing on this earth. It’s everywhere malls, hotels, tv shows, commercials, restaurants and so many more places we go to on the regular.  It’s just something about being a part of people’s development you know. Like making music that can be held close to people forever certain quotes to live by and learn from. Bringing sounds for people to dance to, drive to all around the world. Making people feel like they aren’t alone because I share these flaws and highs and lows of life too.”

Kafar states that his biggest motivation is another version of himself, a higher self-version to be exact, that which may lead towards the right track by putting the work in and being true to his moral compass. He states, “I feel like you have to if the idea of a more successful, smarter and happier version of you & that version can be the solution for all the problems you are trying to fix.” Additionally, Kafar overall wants to make a difference. A different in which change the way others view life. Kafar states, “Mainly just seeing people around me. It’s like so many people are dead inside, stuck in there environment, sucked in doubt and a fearful mindset & seeing that really made me more focused on the music. I don’t want that for myself. I speak to a lot of people all ages & one thing I always here is the “what if” that impacts everything I do I don’t want no regrets.” Because of this, Kafar is doing his best to make an impact by changing the way people are currently viewing life as, and instead, change it so they may reach confidence within themselves. Kafar believes this can make the world a better place, despite us possibly living in the saddest times he stated, Kafar truly believes that he has no limitations to impact as many people as possible, that his music can resonate with everyone.

As stated by Kafar, what makes him stand out from the crowd is his vulnerability and range of sound; “I understood early the power my voice and message my music has. Most of these artists are afraid to really be true to themselves so they follow the trends to stand out no disrespect or shade thrown. I listen to a lot of music Neo soul/ a little of country even so my music incorporates a lot of different cadences that most artist don’t have due to them only listening to hiphop.” The best resemblance one may make to his sound are the artists J.Cole & Nas, who in fact are heavilty respected in the Hip Ho culture. He gets compared to them by others mainly because of Kafar’s ability to story, love soulful beats, and rapping with substance, as stated by him. In addition, Kafar has stated that he is most known for being creative and combining music and community; “My demeanor got me noticed, thinking outside the box and being consistent. Ive done so much in the last two years , releasing a ep “Self privilege” Starting up my own brick & mortar business selling products like sea moss , natural based lotions and soaps , and releasing 2 poetry books while coordinating, hosting , my own events & community work.”

Despite his latest EP that was recently released, Kasar has also released another EP titled ‘Self Privilege The EP’ back in 2019, all of which is available on all streaming platforms. Kafar wishes to continue working on connecting and building with his fans, that way he is able to strengthen his content and put the best music possible, as stated by Kafar. Not only that, but he has also put in work on other projects besides music such as creating a new poetry book and building his brand and store.

With so many things Kafar wishes to do after music, he wishes to have multiple franchises, as well as direct and write films, build communities upbringing recreational centers, and other development properties. Some major accomplishments that Kafar has achieved so far include, “Winning a funk flex messenger app competition. Being a self-published author having 2 books selling over 300 copies independently. Getting looks and meetings from multiple labels. Having a billboard in Times Square. Having my own health & Wellness store! One of my songs reaching 20,000 streams on Spotify. Being played on multiple radio stations such as power 105.1, Iheartradio.”

If Kafar is able to send out a message to all his fans, the world, and everybody who is listening to him, is, “It’s a privilege to be true to who you are because not many is.” Kafar is currently on the track of becoming the biggest independent artist of his generation and based on his past and present work, his future is telling us that his dream is set in stone.
