New Distribution Deal, New Album, New Video – KMF Lynn Are Killing 2021 – Watch “Who I Was”

Published

on

After signing a distribution deal with Penalty/Sony/The Orchard earlier this year  “Keep Moving Forwardthe debut studio album from 10-man collective KMF Lynn has finally seen the light of day. Simultaneously, label CEO Jay Moon dropped the second video from the 10-track release – “Who I Was”, his solo contribution to the group project.

As is customary for this unique, ethnically diverse Rap/R&B cooperative, no expense was spared in the creation of “Who I Was.” The vast and beautifully barren backdrop of Joshua Tree National Park where the video was shot provides the quintessential landscape within which to cast off one’s old, self-defeating mindsets and behaviors in favor of those that enable you to Keep Moving Forward.

Natives of Lynn, Mass, KMF Lynn are representative of the many divergent cultures that call that town home. What they have in common is the desire to escape the traps that typically ensnare the young people in towns like theirs. What sets them apart is their determination to do it together. KMF Lynn believes that when one member wins, they all win. Keep Moving Forward is not simply the group’s mantra but a lifestyle that drives everything they do. Their debut album offers up a solo single from each performing member of the group and wraps with the posse cut, “Truth”, which you can watch here.

“Keep Moving Forward”  was recorded entirely at Quad NYC and is brought to you courtesy of The Orchard Music (on behalf of KMF Music LLC.) Take a look here!
