Detroit’s Prince, Lil Blade (@Lilblade325), celebrated his birthday with a new EP entitled Born Legend. The 7-track project features impressive contributions from former Motown signee Icewear Vezzo (@icewear_vezzo) and Sterl Gotti (@sterlgotti). Lil Blade has been beloved by his city since he was born. His father’s acclaim in the D is widely known, so naturally, Blade was able to make a name for himself early. The slick-talking playboy channels his inner Bill Bellamy for the whole EP. His calming Motor City tone and smooth beat selection lend well to his witty bars.

Lil Blade is Detroit through and through. He embodies all of the qualities of a star rapper. The ladies love him, and the guys want to hang with him. Born Legend is a quality follow-up to his street classic Money Making Blade. Now that he has the city’s support musically, he looks forward to elevating his sound and dropping Money Making Blade 2 before the end of the summer. He and his whole team are poised to rise to prominence with the rest of the city’s bubbling acts. Born Legend is the perfect way to celebrate a birthday for Blade.

Fans of artists like J. Cole, Nas, and Jay-Z should find solace in Tymain Robbins. The North Carolina emcee debuts his album ‘Fashionably Late’ after years of not releasing a body of work. However over the years with multiple viral freestyles including a series of BET collaborations, a dope take on a Chance The Rapper record, and a TDE shoutout on Twitter.

The overall LP is based on a diverse amount of topics coming from the words of Tymain himself.  The tracks that are the focus on this project are “Fashionably Late,” “Denim Tears,” and “Endless Possibilities.” “Fashionably Late” is about coming back after a hiatus and being better than ever due to the amount of work you put in over the off-season. “Denim Tears” plays on the title of the project, is filled with confidence and this song is about the embodiment of everything in your genes.  “Endless Possibilities” is about overcoming adversity and finding strength within ourselves. It’s one of those, “if I can do it, so can you” records.

Radamiz Releases New Single “The Monk’s Ferrari”

Published

on

BK spitter Radamiz readies fans and critics alike ahead of his forthcoming album El Duende! with the Verde Madera-produced collaboration “The Monk’s Ferrari.” The brand new track follows the FifthGod-directed visual for the NYC natives Dom McLennon & Wiki-assisted cut “Big Pharma,” taken off his well-received Gnashing, Teeth project, and successfully sets the tone for future supporting singles.

“This is the first song Verde Madera and I are releasing together after building a 10-year friendship. The title comes from a book that was at our AirBnB in Topanga called The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. Verde had just made those two beats the morning I showed up and when I heard them, we decided to merge them before I added my vocals. I knew we had something special immediately. Verde was also the graphic designer for my last 3-song EP 3 Days Outside Your Body, so it really all is serendipitous,” says the talented lyricist in an exclusive press statement given to Medium Creative Agency.

If the soul could be translated, its imprint pressed into wax or reverberated through speakers, Bedstuy-born wordsmith Radamiz is the kind of artist who would dedicate himself to the pursuit of such a legacy. Radamiz is from the New York City borough of Brooklyn where his music, an effervescent mix of sensitive poetic musings and the braggadocious wanderings of an expansive mind, leaves no philosophical stone unturned. Yet for all his complex inner musings, the 30-year-old’s true gift is his ability to see himself in others, and then translate the unspoken dreams, fears, failures, victories, and a litany of other emotions that swirl together to create the human experience.

Press play on “The Monk’s Ferrari” below via your DSP of choice, compliments of Big Enough Home / STEM, and follow Radamiz on IG.
