Atlanta’s rising star, Kenny Mason has just released his latest project, Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut which includes Kenny’s recently released singles “Rih,” “Pup,” “Partments,” and “Play Ball” as well as eight other new tracks with features from Freddie GibbsDenzel CurryAngel White, and Ambar LucidAngelic Hoodrat: Supercut is the full length spiritual successor to Kenny’s 2020 debut album which established his presence as a unique and powerful force within Atlanta’s diverse music scene – out now with a new visualizer for “Much Money” featuring Freddie Gibbs.“Even the odds, and get even odder / seeking these broads, in need of menages / leaning on leading on gullible people / to think that you hard is leaving me nauseous”

Kenny Mason‘s latest effort, Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut expands upon the themes he set forth on last year’s debut, showcasing his sweeping vocal range and well-earned reputation for stretching beyond the confines of rap. The new project continues the theme of duality inherent within its title, Angelic Hoodrat representing the concepts of light within darkness, beauty within ugliness, and hope within despair.

To commemorate the release of Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut, Kenny Mason has also released his first merchandise capsule collection, designed by Bryan Rivera. The collection ties in the visual themes and motifs of both his recent projects and commemorates the era of the Angelic Hoodrat. Available now at angelichoodrat.com

Vancouver’s DJ Moza Blends Styles On “All The Time”

Published

By

After lengthy contributions to the music game as a DJ and music producer, which gave him the opportunity to tour alongside Jallal, Big Von and Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) over several years, Vancouver’s DJ Moza is entering the ring as an artist in his own right.

With his debut, “All The Time” Ft. Tyler Loyal, RR Baby and Playy, Moza has brought together 3 artists both seasoned and upcoming, from 3 different regions and penned a catchy bi-lingual ode to the grind.

Multi-Platinum, Grammy nominated writer/artist, Playy, had this to say of the collaboration. “DJ Moza was pretty cool to work with.. everyone on the record is from different parts of the world! He brought us all together on this one record and it was a dope merge of all cultures!”

That kind of inclusion is signature Moza, whose goal is to seamlessly fuse regions, sound styles and languages and establish his name as a multi-genre artist.

“All The Time” came from a place of pure motivation. I brought together 3 artists from different sides of the compass. We got Tyler Loyal repping the East Coast, Playy from The South, RR BABY on the West Side and yours truly from The True North.”
