Atlanta’s Kiyana returns with a remake of Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down” with her remix called “Hold Me Down..”

About Kiyana: While Kiyana is an emerging artist to some, she’s no rookie. Born Kiyana Neal, the St. Louis born singer, songwriter, rapper and dancer has been developing her craft for almost a decade. Now a Georgia implant, she’s worked with major vets in the game. Many remember her debut September 2011 hit, “Take Me Away” that spawned over 1Million views collectively across platforms & even recognized by Billboard for her top 100 urban presence. Her high energy performances reflect her influences like Mary J Blige & Lil Kim , Kiyana’s vocal range is similar to her childhood favorites, Brandy & Lauryn Hill. She began developing her craft at an early age within the church, participating in choirs and knew from the beginning she wanted to become a performer. Curators haven’t pinned Kiyana in a specific genre, as she’s known to break barriers between Rap, R&B and crossing over into Pop. Right before quarantine, Kiyana was a contestant on Cardi B’s & Tiʼs Netflix show, Rhythm and Flow. Where she later gained the opportunity to sing backgrounds and write with legendary singer Tameeka Harris from the group Xscape. The vocalist has singles with Rich the Kid, Migos, Rocko, and Freebandz artist, Casino. Just recently making an appearance on Jeezy’s latest album release “Recessions 2” Live & Die. As sheʼs still climbing, one major achievement has been Billboard charting her single, “Take Me Away” & “No love” Without management or a major label backing her work, she’s independently released an EP and short film, Flaws and All Part 1, which is now available on all streaming platforms. Additionally, her single “Love” with Love and Hip Hop with cast member Akbar is slowly making its way up the charts.

In her own words, “Music is my purpose, it selected me, I didn’t select it. God put a fire in me, whatʼs inside of me is gonna help people across the world.” – Kiyana

With music telling the stories of the various plights amongst women, their survival, and love, Kiyana is guaranteed to touch hearts, while breaking charts. Stay tuned, as she’s up NOW.
