Key Glock Announces ‘Yellow Tape 2 (Deluxe),’ Walks With The GOAT in “Pain Killers” Video

When facing an obstacle, the goat doesn’t go over it, under or around it. The goat lowers its head and runs right through it. Stand between Key Glock and the bag, and suffer the same fate.
Racking up over 2.5 billion combined streams on Spotify and Apple Music since he started his career in 2017, Key Glock continues to reach new heights. After his 2021 project, Yellow Tape 2, debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 chart, #1 on the Independent Albums chart, and #2 on the Top Rap Albums chart, Key Glock returns with more momentum than ever before with his new video single, “Pain Killers,” alongside the announcement of Yellow Tape 2 (Deluxe), which adds 10 new songs to the hit original album and arrives March 25th via Paper Route Empire.
The video for “Pain Killers” sees Glock cruising through snow-capped mountains in his signature yellow Cullinan, before hoofing it through the winter wilderness with his cashmere companion. Much like the goat, Glock doesn’t run with the herd–he keeps his head down and keeps moving. Though the goat may be hard-headed, it’s best defined by its hunger and humility. As Glock raps, “I ain’t worried bout another n****, I handle business/You bleed like I bleed, n****, you want it you can get it,” the message is made clear. The goat has arrived, and when you mess with the goat, you get the horns.
The success of Yellow Tape 2 proved beyond all doubt that Key Glock is a standalone star in the truest sense. With the 20-track project, Glock cracked his first solo entrance into the Top 10 on the Billboard 200, racked up over 70 million streams on Spotify alone, and did it all without a major label or a single guest feature. In January, Glock paid tribute to his cousin, mentor, and friend, Young Dolph, with his potent tribute, “Proud,” which earned over 4 million views in its first three days, and received praise from The New York Times, among others. The track was featured on the recent compilation album, Paper Route Empire Presents: Long Live Dolph, where Glock appeared alongside his fellow PRE labelmates.

Olumide & Grxzzly Drops New Video “My Bank” Off ‘Road To Riches’ LP

Continuing his Road To Riches campaign, P.G. County’s own Olumide taps labelmate Grxzzly for the small screen interpretation of his Sergio Cortez & FiveOhTrez-produced standout “My Bank.” The 10-track LP, which was spearheaded by fan favorites “Flip” featuring Chelly The MC, “Toxic In The City,” and “This Feeling,” clocks in at just under 30 minutes and includes additional production from Vicious Varez Visions, Dizzee Beats, and Justin Loring as well as guest vocals compliments of Chris Allen, Allysa, Trilla Kay, and KILASI.
In a exclusive press statement to Medium Creative Agency, the PGN Records signee reveals:
“When I first heard the instrumental I knew this record would be fun. The beat is magnetic and screams OUTSIDE, so we had to make sure the music video was equally polarizing. We had a great time filming it as it served as another opportunity to talk our sh*t.”
Olumide grew up in Maryland, where he casually began to make music with his brother as a high school student. His talent blossomed quickly, and soon, it became apparent that he was destined for bigger things. Olumide began performing in front of any audience that would have him, rapidly upgrading to multiple appearances at Baltimore Soundstage. Easily one of the most promising artists to emerge from the DMV, Olumide officially secured his spot sonically with the release of #BeenDope (Mixtape), which currently boasts millions of streams. Solidifying himself on the stage alongside Hip-Hop heavyweights like Curren$y and A Boogie wit da Hoodie as well as in the booth with other local entertainers like WillThaRapper and Ciscer, Olumide is a man on a mission, refining his craft and further developing his impressive lyrical abilities.

Writing his first album at the age of sixteen, Absolute first broke out with his single “Hello” (stream on Youtube). Absolute describes his new single as “a verbal reflection on an event in my life. I actually crashed and totaled a brand new car. That accident not only impacted me the driver in more ways than one. It also impacted others to include the people closest to me. That can bring about a pain that’ll make you question why did you survive the crash. Instead of living I should’ve crashed and died.”
