Kam Prada debuts cinematic visual “Flight Back”

Published

on

Born in Vancouver but raised in Calgary, unsigned Canadian hype, Kam Prada, is ready to showcase his talents to the world. Kam spent the majority of 2019 and 2020 focused on artist development. He used this time to refine his sound and master his craft.

Kam’s debut record, ‘Flight Back’, captures the essence of his sound. It portrays an energetic ambient trap sound with catchy melodies and quick, fiery flows. The witty lyricism, catchy hook, addicting melodies, and punchy yet melodic flows all over a classical guitar riff makes ‘Flight Back’ the perfect melodic hit.

‘Flight Back’ was influenced by artists such as Roddy Ricch and Lil Tecca but also fellow Canadian artists NAV and NorthSideBenji. It is produced by recent Internet Money signee Nico Baran. Nico has produced many notable tracks such as ‘Tragic’ by The Kid Laroi and YoungBoy Never Broke Again, ‘Married To My Enemies’ by Jackboy and Tee Grizzley, and ‘Bronny’ by Jay Critch.

‘Flight Back’ and its accompanying music video were released on January 24th. Two more singles with accompanying music videos will be released after ‘Flight Back’; one in February and one in March. All three singles serve as build up to Kam’s debut 2-pack capsule titled ‘Welcome To Celestial’ which is slated for an early May release.

Born and Raised in Tampa, Florida, independent artist Rublow has been preparing to take over the music industry since he was 10 years old. Now the 22-year-old is proving he’s a force to be reckoned with in the hip hop community.

The up-and-coming artist who is currently signed under two independent labels, Hieroglyphic Music and No Silver Spoon LLC, is killing the game with his versatile sound and incredible flow.

“The way I articulate, I feel as if I tell a different story,” he said, “Yeah, I got turn up music with trap vibes but I’m also well-rounded. I write about real shit, police brutality, growing up in the hood, adversities of being a black man in America. I feel like I’m good at that stuff too.”

Determined to kick start his career, Rublow made the decision to move to Los Angeles, California where he could fully dedicate himself to music. He admits moving to LA was a power move which led him to link up with some of Hollywood’s hottest artists including Anwar Hadid and His Girlfriend Dua Lipa.

Charisma and originality seems to be the name of the game these days, and to me, nobody checks both of those boxes quite like Michigan’s own YN Jay, aka the “Coochie Man.” Late on Friday, he returned with his latest video-single, titled “Yeessiirrrr.” On this new cut, Jay delivers an energetic flow, flexing more of his off-kilter bars and standout ad-libs that have earned him an impressive following in the midwest and beyond. The video, directed by NTRO4K Films, features Jay and his squad posted up in front of a beamer, all while he smiles ear-to-ear showing off his villainous, yet at the same time endearing, grin.

Prior to “Yeessiirrrr,” YN Jay shared a video for “Kakashi,” a standout track off Ninja Warrior, his most recent project. Earning coverage from PitchforkEntertainment WeeklyMic, and many others, Ninja Warrior showcases the viral sensation’s superior beat-riding ability and boundary-pushing bars. Featuring collaborations with Lil YachtySada BabyLouie Ray, and Rmc MikeNinja Warrior is out now.
