Published

on

Journey Montana is hands down the next R&B star to break into the mainstream music scene. Coming fresh off the release of her debut EP In & Out, Montana explores the transformation of going from “out your feelings” to being “in your bag” in a melodically pleasing manner. She delivers an impressive visual for her lead single “Forget Me” that is currently tearing up tv and radio airwaves worldwide.

With “Forget Me” making its debut on BET Jamz, this songbird is elevating at the highest level of her career. “Forget Me” is a record about a love that is lost but the memories of what was, forever lives on. Produced by hit maker Donut (Justin Beiber, Jeremih, PnB Rock ,Fergie, Eric Bellinger), it is a certified bop. Journey gives descriptive details about giving her best and it not being enough while reminding listeners that when love is real you can’t just forget about a person.

She has a tone that is like no other and does an incredible job of creating a body of work that speaks to her progression as an artist. In the music video you will see Montana tapping back into her Harlem roots speaking her raw truth over a melodic beat. As this single appears on her highly anticipated debut In & Out EP that was released earlier this summer, she is showing the world how prolific and powerful her music gifts are.

With In & Out being such an important release for Journey, she made sure to enlist some heavy hitter producers to help her sound reach an international level. You can expect to hear the eloquent sounds of Dre Teggs, Major 7, and Money Jezuz whose unique sounds helped to create an R&B masterpiece. This EP release has already led to several opportunities for Montana including working with the NBA. Her single “Selfless” was featured in the Beats by Dre flowers for black woman campaign for black history and women’s history months.

With this project, Journey Montana is stepping on the scene as the next big R&B star without a doubt. Press play below to stream her new “Forget Me” music video and stream her new In & Out EP here.
