The landmark album set the stage for the Chicago-born genre’s global takeover, and Keef’s unapologetic energy and singular vocal style influenced an entire generation of rappers (an incomplete list of his admirers includes 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti). Rated by Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and many other publications as one of the best rap albums of the 2010s, Finally Rich changed the face of music, established Sosa as a globally recognizable icon and shifted the center of rap culture back to the streets. 

Cracking the Top 5 of the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and Top Rap Albums Chart before eventually earning platinum status, the now-classic album is home to iconic singles like the quadruple-platinum “Love Sosa,” double-platinum “Hate Bein’ Sober” [feat. 50 Cent & Wiz Khalifa], and “I Don’t Like” [feat. Lil Reese]—which famously inspired the platinum-certified “I Don’t Like (Remix)” [feat. Pusha T, Kanye West, Big Sean, & Jadakiss] on the G.O.O.D. Uncountably prolific, yet never seeming to run out of ideas, Chief Keef is embarking on a new chapter of his storied career. Earlier this year, he announced the formation of 43B, his new record label formed in conjunction with BMG, and signed its first artist, Lil Gnar.
