Rising Star FaceVsIt: Merging Hip Hop and Classical Composition

Published

on

In the ever-evolving landscape of music, few artists manage to bridge the gap between seemingly disparate genres. One such trailblazer is Facevsit, a rapper and songwriter whose journey has been fueled by a deep connection to poetry and hip hop. As a young child, Facevsit found solace in writing poetry, which naturally evolved into rap as the genre’s rhythmic and lyrical intensity resonated with him. Now, his career is a testament to his ability to balance the disciplines of composition and rap, creating a unique and compelling sound.

Facevsit’s creative process is both intricate and intuitive. When composing new pieces, he collaborates closely with his producers, bringing in references and building the foundation of his music together. This collaborative spirit is particularly evident in his work with THX Beats, where they blend diverse influences to create something fresh. On the other hand, his approach to writing rap lyrics is deeply personal. Inspired by his thoughts and emotions, Facevsit’s lyrics are a reflection of his experiences and observations, making his music a powerful storytelling medium. His experiences as a composer enrich his rap performances, imbuing them with a depth and authenticity that resonate with listeners.

Influences play a crucial role in shaping Facevsit’s sound. While mainstream hip hop legends like Tupac, Eminem, and Nas have left an indelible mark on his style, he also draws inspiration from underground icons such as Atmosphere and Immortal Technique. Beyond the realm of hip hop, Latin music legends like Julio Jaramillo, Hector Lavoe, and Oscar De Leon have significantly influenced his work. This eclectic mix of influences is evident in his music, where genres like salsa, cumbia, and merengue seamlessly blend with hip hop, thanks to the innovative production of THX Beats. As the future of music continues to evolve with the blending of genres, Facevsit aims to be at the forefront, contributing to this dynamic landscape. His advice to aspiring artists is simple yet profound: “Do what you enjoy, trust yourself and how music makes you feel, and never stop.” With this mindset, Facevsit is poised to leave an indelible mark on the music industry.
