Jordan Occasionally (they/them) is a non-binary, Dance-Pop and R&B recording artist who received critical acclaim after the independent release of their album “Indigo”. Named as a rising Black artist by Tidal, and becoming one of the first to compete in Billboard NXT’s Independent Artist Competition, it’s safe to say that you’re about to witness the future of Pop music. Their EP “1998,” was born from their desire to cultivate a space for people who are so often overlooked. “Until the most marginalized are free, none of us are free.” Jordan Occasionally is known for being a changemaker, having received the Communicator of the Year Award in 2021 after leading protests in Memphis, TN for the late Breonna Taylor and All Black Lives. With a platform of over 80k followers and 3.4M likes on Tik Tok, JD is known for using every platform to amplify their art and activism. Jordan Occasionally’s most recent single “Lie Lie Lie” has been added to four Spotify Editorial Playlists.
