Looking to join the list of Richmond rap royalty with the likes of Grammy-nominated songwriter/lyricist and creator of iconic end of the year “Rap Up” series Mad Skillz as well as rising acts like StaySolidRocky, who landed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his club friendly track “Party Girl,”Phalie (@phalie4108) delivers the official visual for viral smash “Ratchet.” Featuring a dance compilation from entertainment elites who helped take the song from its concept stage to trending on TikTok, including Tiffany Haddish and Sway Lee, the small-screen interpretation of the BeatGodStacy-produced single fits seamlessly on any strip club or twerk playlist.

“Me and my cousin were in Miami playing around with some sounds while at the studio, then BOOM! I immediately began to come up with the song’s lyrics. I actually had this girl from around my way who was known for beating women up in mind as the record was being crafted. The night before that session she posted a video on IG giving somebody the business and that’s how the idea for the record was born,” said the New Boss Life Ent. signee about the track’s origins.

Pronounced Fay-Lie, Phalie is a Guyanese American Hip-Hop recording artist from Virginia’s southside area of Richmond. Originally starting his musical journey off as a DJ, which lead to him joining Plies on tour in 2016, he began to record as well as produce himself in 2019. With the release of his first single “Ratchet” came an outpouring of organic support from celebrities and social media influencers laying the foundation for his currently fruit-bearing career.
