Rockie Fresh Joins Terian Mack For “i KNOW”
Following his debut attendance of The Grammys, which was documented by Lancaster Online, Philly multi-disciplinary Terian Mack (@TMack_vs_WORLD) delivers the first offering off soon to be released LP ‘Independence Day.’ Enlisting Windy City wordsmith Rockie Fresh (@rockiefresh) and Rihanna “Goodnight Gotham” instrumentalist Keyon Christ (@keyonchrist) for the Malik Yusef (@malikyusef) executive produced album appetizer, “I KNOW” comes paired with a futuristic augmented reality Instagram filter designed by Cybernerdbaby that allows users to summon a pyramid as well as UFOs. “I wanna thank GOD for keeping me safe and most importantly surrounding me with love, respect, and support! This weekend was literally a dream come true. I used to watch the Grammys with my grammy and now I’ve experienced the greatest night in music for myself. This release doubles as a sonic celebration and the beginning of the roll-out for my best body of work to date,” said the faith-fueled father of two in a statement to the press.
A brilliant songwriter, painter, and recording artist with a story of triumph and persistence, Terian’s humble beginnings speak to the underdog in us all. Raised by his grandmother, in a city where KKK rallies were still being held, a flame was ignited in Terian’s spirit pushing him to perfect his craft day in and day out. This work ethic may be why restaurants are naming meals after him and local media are now consistently covering his art.
His hustle and skill for marketing even has non profits willing to buy his project for $1,000, similar to Nipsey Hussel‘s ‘Proud 2 Pay’ campaign. Mack is recognized as one of his city’s community leaders and serves as a creative mentor for an organization called Tru2You. Tru2You is a creative mentorship conglomerate dedicated to serving the community through self-expression and guiding the next generation of artists and activists known as artivists.
