CLEVER Wants To “Tattoo Your Name”
Today, acclaimed genre-breaking hitmaker CLEVER uncovers a new single and music video entitled “Tattoo Your Name” via Posty Co./Republic Records. On the track, airy guitar cuts through 808s, and CLEVER’s instantly recognizable wail takes hold as he croons, “I want to tattoo your name on my bones, so it’s there when I’m gone.” In the accompanying visual, he delivers an emotionally charged performance by a lake. Meanwhile, an artist etches his wife’s name, Lyndsie, right next to his earlobe. “Tattoo Your Name” captures all of the cathartic intensity he remains renowned for.
Next up, CLEVER launches his first North American headline run the Call Me Nobody Tour this fall. After he makes appearances at Lollapalooza on July 29 and Firefly Festival on September 26, the tour kicks off on October 22 in San Francisco, CA at Great American Music Hall, rolls through major markets coast-to-coast, and comes to a close at the world-famous Roxy in West Hollywood, CA on November 21.
