Twin Hector Drops “Genie” and ‘What A Time II Be Alive’
Platinum award-winning artist Twin Hector has released a new single, “Genie,” alongside full-length album, What A Time To Be Alive II. Undulating between the soft waves of hip-hop, R&B, soul and pop, Twin Hector has delivered a collection of scintillating and exquisite songs that really connect with the innermost emotions. The album showcases Twin’s multi-dimensional approach to music under hyper-imaginative settings, glamorous vignettes of a party lifestyle, and ethereal interludes of intense romance.
“Genie” is a kickback anthem laced with notes of budding flirtation over subliminal, dream-like beats. Twin Hector confides, “The song ‘Genie’ came together from a lifestyle of grown up fun. Being aware; a student of my environment and real life scenarios I find myself in.” Over a decadent storm of rhythms, deep plunges of percussion, and fantasy-filled sonics, Twin Hector will lure you inside his world with a pristine vocal cut from raw experience.

VA’s Flame Blazin & Strong Independent Youth Hosts First Annual Christmas Coat Drive
Talented Virginia rapper and philanthropist Flame Blazin hosted the first annual Christmas Coat Drive courtesy of his new non-profit organization, Strong Independent Youth, at the Newport News Boys & Girls Club. The established recording artist gave out dozens of coats to children in need near the area with the help of LJ Burrell, CEO of Wilson Wealth Enterprises, and Kiara Barrett, Unit Director at The Newport News Boys & Girls Club.
Speaking on the ceremonious event, Flame Blazin, also known as Rashad Langley, explained, “Many families struggle, and being from Hampton Roads, I want to show I’m here for them. Some kids turn to crime for things they could earn by taking the right steps, like getting a job or seeking help, avoiding hardship for themselves and their families.”
Flame Blazin is known for his hardened bars and real-life stories within his music. Today, he is ready to leave a legacy for his children and show the youth in the Hampton Roads area that they are not alone. He understands what his life was like growing up and is excited about having the chance to make a difference for those who are coming after him. His fans have watched him mature over the years, and this is seemingly his best moment yet. Be on the lookout for more givebacks from the young emcee as he looks to leave his mark on the city that helped him grow into the man he is today.
