Rich Amiri Signs With Internet Money Records, Shares Debut Full-Length Project
Tearing up the internet underground with his velvety vocals and strong hitmaking instincts, Rich Amiri has spent the past two years turning heads in high places. Today, Rich Amiri announces his new record deal with Internet Money Records / 10K Projects. Founded by Taz Taylor, Internet Money is the industry’s premier producer-artist collective, responsible for a phone book-length list of RIAA-certified hits, a polished and innovative production sound, and boosting the careers of some of rap’s most exciting young artists. With his expert sense of melody and rich vocal timbre, Amiri is a perfect fit for the roster and a good bet to evolve into a major star.
For his first move as an Internet Money Records signee, Rich Amiri shares EVOLUTION, his debut full-length project. Produced in full by Internet Money, the new project provides a rich and futuristic canvas upon which Amiri can paint with his deep and soulful voice. The Boston-native rhymer is an expert flexer, whether he’s bragging about his illicit gains on the percolating “Dirty Money,” or proclaiming his own immorality on the cavernous closer “Can’t Die,” produced by IM’s Cxdy and Taz Taylor. Spanning 12 tracks, the project plays like a cohesive mix, with many tracks seamlessly transitioning to the next, with instrumentals that fill the room but leave space for Amiri to twirl his infectious melodies. The result is a dreamlike evocation of a world of Amiri’s own, full of Audemar watches, Rolls Royce Wraiths, and more money than one can count. Home to the recent singles “Poppin” ft. EVOLUTION is the latest step in Amiri’s rise from SoundCloud to nascent stardom. In 2021, he released his hit “Never Fail,” which recently surpassed 3 million streams on SoundCloud, which sparked a series of underground hits. Last year, the rapper shared his debut EP For The Better, which featured guest spots from SSGKobe, Summrs, and others.
