Trailblazing African artist, music executive, and YBNL founder, Olamide, shares his 10th studio album, Unruly, comprising 15 tracks that embody his current state of mind. Creating this album with no restrictions or limitations in sound or vision, Olamide lives true to the title name. The curation of the tracklist brings together some of the most sought after African artists of today including CKay (“Trumpet”), BNXN (“Come Alive”), Rema (“Mukulu”), and YBNL’s own Fireboy DML (“Shibebe”) and Asake (“New Religion”). 

Olamide has already previewed two singles before this release with “New Religion” featuring Asake and “Trumpet” featuring CKay – both racking up nearly 40M and 30M streams respectively. Both records garnered press from Billboard, Complex, OkayAfrica, Clash, and more, and set the tone for the album. Olamide and Asake prove to be a strong duo having also shared “Amapiano” earlier this year which racked up millions of streams and debuted on Billboard’s US Afrobeats Songs Chart. Also in 2023, Olamide was named to Billboard Magazine’s International Power Players list.

Olamide is a revered figure in Nigeria’s entertainment industry and one of the most triumphant artists to come out of Africa. He is the head of YBNL Nation, which has grown into one of Nigeria’s most influential and respected record labels since founding the imprint more than a decade ago, launching the careers of artists such as Asake, Fireboy DML, Adekunle Gold, and many more. Olamide shared his debut in 2010 and has since dropped classics and accumulated over 1 billion global streams to date.
