New Music – Shabibz “Booty Go” ft. BSlime

Published

on

California artist Shabibz is shaking up the summer with his latest single “Booty Go.” The track features Young Stoner Life recording artist Bslime and the accompanying upcoming video was even shot in Atlanta.

“This single is pure energy and fun. It’s an anthem for bad bitches everywhere, anywhere, in any shape, size or form,” says Shabibz when asked to describe the new track. “It’s a culture deeper than ass shaking. I want people to feel empowered about themselves when playing this slap. Higher frequency.”

The “Booty Go” release comes ahead of Shabibz second album slated to debut later this fall.

Describing his overall sound as wavy, fresh and authentic, Shabibz seeks to connect with listeners from all ethnicities and walks of life with his music. “I want people to know that art and music is for everyone, regardless of the sound, genre, or where you were raised,” he said. “I want to really connect with communities. I just want everyone to know that someone is feeling them at all times. No one is ever truly alone ever in this world.”

Shabibz, whose name is mesh of the two Arabic words “Shabeb” and “Habibi”, also spoke on how his cultural upbringing is the reason he chose to pursue a career in music.

“Being a Middle Eastern male, it was tough to talk about my feelings and be vulnerable with my family and culture. So I went to music to express that side of myself,” said Shabibz. “Music was the side of me where I could be free of any expectations, social norms and barricades that my culture and environment had on me. Music was always just there for me. Ready to take me in and explore within. I feel like I really found myself and my purpose in life through music. I want to share that now.”

Since releasing his debut project Step Back in 2021, Shabibz has received so much love as an artist with the project trending and charting in the Top 100 of 15 different countries.

While listeners have to wait and see what the artist’s sophomore project will entail, be sure to stream “Booty Go” feat. BSlime in the meantime and follow Shabibz on Instagram @Shabibzzz to keep up with all the great things he has in store.

Since the beginning of the year, CT talent Byrd StayLow has been teasing his “Dying 4 More” album with a string of singles and videos. That included “No Company,” “Down Bad,” “Trayvon” featuring JayRock Jax and T. Foreign, and the most recent, “Bad Habits.”

All four records were a perfect preview of what fans can expect from the new LP. Luckily they don’t have to anticipate any more, as “Dying 4 More” has officially been released across all major streaming platforms.

Serving as his newest effort in two years, following up “Trust The Vibes” from 2022, “Dying 4 More” comes laced with 12 songs and is certainly Byrd’s most introspective album to date. Although Byrd has delivered three visuals from the project already, fans are hoping he has at least one more in the vault coming.

Until then, be sure to continue streaming “Dying 4 More” on your preferred DSP and follow Byrd StayLow on Instagram for constant updates.

Following collaborations with the late Fatman Scoop, P-Lo, and LaRussell on top of a strong co-sign from Bootleg Kev among other key industries figures, Bay Area native Miles Minnick (TW/IG) connects with San Diego’s Jon Keith (TW/IG) for a West Coast rap anthem titled “HIM.” Produced by Jon, who signed with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkin’s Alienz Alive label over the Summer and left a lasting impression after scorching his On The Radar freestyle, the collaboration serves as the first look into what fans can expect from their forthcoming WEST INDIES project.

“For us, we want to make something of substance that has the sound of the culture that birthed us. West Coast culture. The song represents the boldness we get from knowing that Big G will slide on our behalf regardless of the situation,” said Minnick when asked about the pair’s new release.

“We wanted to make a song that brought believers together but also unified the whole West Coast. We love our state and really want to see God move through California,” echoes Keith in a press statement about the single.
