MICHAL MICHAL EMBRACES THE PROCESS ON NEW MIXTAPE ‘WHY WOULD I COMPLAIN

Published

on

Michal Michal embraces the good and bad life presents on his new mixtape, Why Would I
Complain. Released on leap day (Feb. 29), you can listen to the 7-track project HERE available
on all streaming platforms. Featuring previous singles in “Know Me Better,” “Calm B4 the Storm”
with 5heriff and “don’t blame the kids,” fresh-pressed highlights like the grandiose “$ Beers,”
infectiously chill “One Day” and hypnotic “Sneaky Link” continue to showcase Michal’s refined
talent. Meshing sounds found within the discographies of Mac Miller and Trippie Redd, the
Austin emcee lets his signature rasp lead the way for every melody he tears off.

“‘Why Would I Complain’ is like the transition of the old me and the new me, as far as the artistic
version of myself,” Michal says of WWIC. “This is really just the start – a transition into
something different.” Michal’s message and his mindset for the future are simple: “Anyone can
do whatever they want in life. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t go to college, didn’t go to high
school, if you come from poverty or from wealth. Whatever you want to do can be done. And
why not? We only have one life to do it. Life is too short, so why would I complain?”
