Kelow LaTesha & Goonew Share “Titanic”
Kelow LaTesha’s track record with leading charge for the DMV Hip Hop, Go-Go music scene remains undisputed. Today, after teasing the release in many forms earlier this year, she unlocks her single “Titanic” released in partnership with SoundCloud, featuring the late Goonew. Fresh from being announced on the newest class for SoundCloud’s revered artist development program ‘First On SoundCloud,’ the rising star is poised for her most decorated year as breakout success awaits. Kelow, best known for her magnetic personality through her sound and style, has spent over a decade investing in her artistry and creating a lane for herself that places her in a category of no one alike. “Titanic” magnifies in on Kelow’s appeal that compliments her infectious lyrical, witty style with a blissfully-bizarre visual to match.
“Titanic was just literally fun from the beginning, to mix, to video shoot. There’s nothing not fun about it. I first laid the hook & Mannyvelli the producer was recording me and was like ‘yo Goon will fuck wit this.’ Goonew stepped in from the other room & was just on go & was so smooth literally. I knew instantly this record was gonna go,” Kelow shares.
