on

Hailing from an island which boasts a rich musical and cultural heritage, one of the most exciting talents
in Jamaica right now – D’Yani follows on from a string of impressive tracks; with the release of brand new
soulful single ‘Ambience’.
With alluring magnetic rhythms and flirtatious synths, the Fuze, Kemzy & Viva Cee produced track is a
display of D’Yani’s unique style and ability to cross lanes fusing dancehall sounds with rich and silky R&B
vocals. Proving that when it comes to the art of making music for D’Yani there are no boundaries. Riding
between pockets of plush production, he draws on his Jamaican culture and influences to create this
infectious, melodic tune.

Speaking on the track title, D’Yani says: “Ambience, to me, embodies the atmosphere, location, and setting where love blossoms, and the emotions it elicits through your partner’s influence. When I contemplate ambience, it’s primarily a positive perspective on love, filled with youthful enthusiasm. It’s a sensation of euphoria and ecstasy, a rare experience when you’re so deeply connected with your partner that inhibitions melt away, and it’s a pure soul-to-soul connection”.

D’Yani considers himself a true student of music. As a musician, his style predominantly showcases a fresh approach to the genres of Reggae and Dancehall, he draws musical inspiration from a melange of talents such as Jackie Wilson, Sizzla Kalonji, Bob Dylan, Movado Bob Marley, and many others.

Appreciating the way, they often speak emotively through music to their audience.
As a songwriter, he tries to take his music to that soulful place, which communicates and connects
emotionally with fans. D’Yani has created a sound, which laces catchy melodies and witty lyrics with
situational concepts. This has garnered praise from acclaimed producers, disc jocks, and industry icons,
such as Robert Livingston, Cordell ‘Skatta’ Burrel, Jeremy ‘Rolexx’ Waide, Tanya Stephenson, ‘and Cecile’ Charlton to name a few.

D’Yani has numerous performances under his belt, most notably being Sting 2016, Reggae Sumfest 2018
and 2022 and most recently in 2023 at Buju and Beres’ show Intimate. D’yani also took to the stage this
year at Reggae Sumfest 2023 where he performed his hit song ‘Feelings’ with Jada Kingdom (watch here). This soulful singer considers the stage his playground, constantly displaying vocal agility in his use of riffs and runs. With a tagline of “Yours Truly”, expect him to stay true to his commitment, to deliver soulful and emotional conversations to listeners as he gears up for more releases in the new year.

As he puts the finishing touches on Wiley Park, 4DHouse Entertainment head honcho Danuel House Jr. aka 4 follows up the release of NSFW posse cut “S.M.O. (Slut Me Out)” featuring verses from “Chain On” lyricist Bando and G5 with Thizaezbeat produced single “Talk Nasty.” Continuing his campaign of raunchy records, “Talk Nasty” does an excellent job of educating women on exactly what’s needed to help men reach their sexual peak.

Danuel House Jr. grew up right across the street from Wiley Park. Being raised in the 4th Ward, House saw a lot of things as a kid that teach you how to survive; combined with a large family including relatives who educated him on the do’s and don’ts of the streets. He later moved to the Southwest side of Houston, where he attended Welch Middle and then Sharpstown High School. Ahead of graduation he spent some time in Missouri City and attended Hightower High School. Though he would frequently return to his hometown to visit his grandmother while attending the University of Houston and Texas A&M, he officially settled back in the Lone Star State to play professional basketball. After 8 years in the NBA, he decided to devote his time to making music. Recently partnering with Steve Stoute’s United Masters, the hooper turned Hip Hop artist and his 4DHouse crew are poised to win big whether in the streets or the stadium. The resourceful raplethe has already secured features with Paul Wall, Bun B, Z-Ro, Kenny Muney, and OTC Toro.
