DUSTY LOCANE and the Money Go “WAY BACC”

Published

on

DUSTY LOCANE attacks each bar of an instrumental with his resonant, rumbling roar. Today, the Canarsie shot-caller takes a rewind, sharing “WAY BACC,” a hair-raising new video. Launching his commanding presence onto a Kajun Waters-produced instrumental marked by explosive sliding 808s and a haunting horn melody, DUSTY lets his opps know he’s ready to clash: “You wanna drill or be a rapper?/Drifting in both lanes, now they merging.”

The video for “WAY BACC” is a cinematic demonstration of the stature required to pull strings in the streets. Surrounded by bikini-clad baddies in a spotless luxury house, DUSTY lounges by the water, but it’s the unfortunate fools who swim with the sharks that end up sleeping with the fishes. He keeps his ladies at his side throughout the video, but when a briefcase is delivered with a snake inside, he’s more attentive than ever– a necessary skill for a highroller of his caliber.

“WAY BACC” is a highlight from NIGHTMARE ON DA FIFTH, a sinister project that dropped on Halloween. The new tape continues to cement the Canarsie native’s chokehold on the Brooklyn drill scene, while also taking the time to showcase the talents of DUSTY’s 95MM crew, including 3KizzyKajun Waters, who recently teamed with DUSTY for the new banger “Chevelle,” SFIV5Stelly Hundo, and OMB Jay Dee. Home to highlights like PRESSURE” and FLU GANG,” and the buzzing single ROLANDO 2 (Catch The Rain)” (1.1 million views in 2 weeks), NIGHTMARE ON DA FIFTH is available everywhere via EMPIRE.

Though he’s stepping away from the game for a while, DUSTY doesn’t see his situation as a setback–he’ll be back soon enough, focused and stronger than ever, as he continues his mission to elevate to A-List status.

“WHAT DON’T KILL ME MAKES ME 95 TIMES STRONGER,” said DUSTY on Instagram. “TO ALL MY REAL SUPPORTERS AND FANS ITS MORE ON DA WAY VERY SOON
