@LarryJuneTFM turns up the jokes on “Trap Trap Trap”

Published

on

Trap music, the genre, as we know it, is slowly making its exit. In its place, more organic, experimental rap is taking its place. For trap to have such a long run as it did (nearly 10 years), the way that it inspired other genres and types of rap coming behind it is nothing short of legendary. Bay Area’s Larry June decided to have a good crack at the parameters of it on his new single, aptly called “Trap Trap Trap.” Produced by Sledgren, the cut’s production is bog standard, on purpose. Then Larry comes in with hilarious rhymes that are so trap music infused that you half expect Waka Flocka to somersault out of the shadows when listening to it.
