Gangsta Boo enlists @ImAsianDoll and @CubanDaSavage for the remix of “Where Dem Dollaz At”
It’s been nearly twenty years since Gangsta Boo, Three 6 Mafia’s only female member at one point in time, dropped her smash hit “Where Dem Dollaz At.” Since then, it’s become a hip-hop classic that remained untouched for almost two decades. Now, the legendary emcee has decided to reach to the new school and recruit Asian Doll and Cuban Doll for a modern-day iteration of it. It’s striking how little has changed in terms of the song’s concept and how it relates to the modern day and age. All in all, it’s great to see the old school extending the olive branch and helping the new – after all, there’s been bad blood between Golden Age and New Age hip-hop for years. But now, let “Where Dem Dollaz At (Remix)” be the first inkling of togetherness between parties.
Listen to “Where Dem Dollaz At (Remix)” below.
