Young Dolph’s Fiancée Mia Jaye Launches “Color My Grief” Series: Exploring Loss, Healing, + Hope

Mia Jaye, fiancée of the late rapper Young Dolph, is proud to announce the launch of her new grief support series, “Color My Grief.” Co-hosted with actress Cecelia Friday (Snowfall, S.W.A.T.) this unique show kicks off April 5, 2024. All April, the ladies will launch five episodes that explore every aspect of grief, from understanding its causes and effects to navigating the path towards healing. “Color My Grief” will delve into the complexities of loss, including themes of remorse, managing difficult emotions, and finding resources for support. Viewers will discover tools and techniques to help them recognize color within the darkness of sadness.

Weekly IG Live Interviews with Special Guests

Throughout April, “Color My Grief” will feature IG Live interviews with special guests who will share their own experiences with grief and offer guidance to those who are grieving. The series promises inspiring and informative discussions. Guests include producer and podcast host Madison McGhee, poet and motivational speaker Ian Manuel, therapist Pierra Brown, and gun violence survivor & Deputy Director of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention, Gregory Jackson, Jr.

Interactive Art Therapy Workshop on May 4th

On May 4th, “Color My Grief” will culminate in an interactive virtual workshop led by Chicago therapist Pierra Brown specializing in art therapy. This workshop will provide participants with a safe space to express their emotions and explore their grief journey through artistic expression.

Participation and Apparel

To participate in the May 4th workshop, viewers can purchase a special art supply and apparel bundle designed by Young Dolph’s daughter, Aria. This bundle is part of the Aria Collection and was created to help other families experiencing loss better cope with their unbearable loss just as Dolph’s family did.
