For his first move as an Internet Money Records signee, Rich Amiri shares EVOLUTION, his debut full-length project. Produced in full by Internet Money, the new project provides a rich and futuristic canvas upon which Amiri can paint with his deep and soulful voice. The Boston-native rhymer is an expert flexer, whether he’s bragging about his illicit gains on the percolating “Dirty Money,” or proclaiming his own immorality on the cavernous closer “Can’t Die,” produced by IM’s Cxdy and Taz Taylor. Spanning 12 tracks, the project plays like a cohesive mix, with many tracks seamlessly transitioning to the next, with instrumentals that fill the room but leave space for Amiri to twirl his infectious melodies. EVOLUTION is the latest step in Amiri’s rise from SoundCloud to nascent stardom. In 2021, he released his hit “Never Fail,” which recently surpassed 3 million streams on SoundCloud, which sparked a series of underground hits. Last year, the rapper shared his debut EP For The Better, which featured guest spots from SSGKobe, Summrs, and others.
