PAYROLL GIOVANNI ANNOUNCES ALBUM & SHARES CARDO-PRODUCED SINGLE
Payroll Giovanni cemented himself as a Detroit rap legend more than decade ago. Today he announces his brand new album Ghost Mode, out February 24, with features and production from Jeezy, Babyface Ray, and more. To accompany this announcement today he shares a new single and visual for “Feel How I Look,” a record over a signature laid-back Cardo beat, that finds Payroll speaking on life from a relaxed and motivating lens.
Earlier this month, Payroll shared the forthcoming album’s first single “Balcony Thoughts,” which already has more than 1 million streams across all platforms (almost 250K Youtube views). In the past year alone, he has amassed 20 million streams across DSPs and to date received cosigns from Nipsey Hussle, Big Sean, Larry June, and press praise from Pitchfork, Billboard, XXL, Stereogum, Hypebeast, Vibe, The Fader, and many more.
A true Detroit icon and Hip Hop Pioneer, Payroll’s success has expanded beyond music with him debuting his acting career in 2022 on Amazon Prime’s McGraw Ave series. Safe to say he is claiming his throne this year.
