LA Hollywood Paints A Picture On New LP, ‘Maybe The Drugs’

Published

on

LA Hollywood(@iamlahollywood) is in a unique bag on his latest drop. His new album, ‘Maybe The Drugs’, is an introspective look at life as a young man trying to come up while dealing with various addictions. He’s been through a lot, and his project is as transparent as possible. The lifestyle he chose isn’t for everyone, but he likes it. Over the years, LA Hollywood has dealt with the dependency on drugs and sex. Throughout his nine-song effort, he finds a way to tell the story of his exciting life from his point of view.

The 22-minute-long LP starts on a smooth note. “Is It” is a bounce beat that could be classified as “Cloud Rap.” With features from Luh Kiddo & Gsambo, this tape is full of talented Virginia bar spitters. The album is full of high moments, but “CVS,” “Lonely High,” and the Baby Jay-assisted “We Dem” are the highlights of the 9-track LP. LA Hollywood has promise, and if he keeps up the momentum, there will be a promising future ahead. His openness is his strongest trait, fully displayed in ‘Maybe The Drugs.’

Be sure to press play on his latest LP, ‘Maybe The Drugs’, here today!
