Kalan.frfr & PettyPetty Drop “Won’t Call Back”

Published

on

Rising Los Angeles rapper PettyPetty is on a win streak of epic proportions. After a very productive and consistent 2021 campaign that included a joint project with Drakeo The Ruler titled “Out Of Character”, and a solo project titled “Petro” that was received extremely well by listeners on the west coast and in the southern United States he’s back with a new track. Today, he releases a brand new single featuring Roc Nation artist and rising LA superstar Kalan.frfr titled “Won’t Call Back” produced by Eli. The song is a true testament to Petty’s development as an artist as he tries his hand at creating a song catered towards a female audience. Kalan kicks off the song by singing, “50 piece on me and some fly ass clothes”, followed by Petty “I’m finna fly out with my b**** with Celiné on, gotta keep the beam, couple bands with some lean on”. As we spring into warm weather and summer only a few months away, the single is the perfect addition to a pool party playlist.

PettyPetty is a Los Angeles artist on the brink of stardom. The Crenshaw District native has remained a constant force since he debuted in 2015 then caught fire with songs like “Strapped” featuring Drakeo The Ruler and multiple collaborations with Ralfy The Plug. Petty’s influence and reverence is apparent as LA’s newest artists continue to request his verses as a stamp of approval. In 2020, he was a model of consistency releasing his project Petty Theft 2 featuring Bravo The Bagchaser and his collaboration project ‘AlPetty’ with Mike Almighty with features from BlueBucksClan, Ralfy The Plug and more. In 2021, he remained consistent throughout the year releasing two projects, one titled “Petro” and the other a joint EP with his now late friend Drakeo The Ruler titled “Out of Character”. Four months into 2022, Petty has aimed his focus on growing outside of Los Angeles and the west coast, forging relationships with southern artists such as NoCap, soaking up game to create music which can be universally embraced by all regions.
