Today, 6x GRAMMY-nominated recording artist BJ The Chicago Kid releases a new single entitled “Type Of Day.” The feel-good record features GRAMMY-winning singer and songwriter Eric Bellinger!
Listen as these two R&B sensations describe their perfect carefree day filled with good smoke, beautiful weather, and good vibes. “Type Of Day” serves as the second installment of the month-long series, “BJ Wednesdays,” where the critically-acclaimed singer will provide his fans with a musical gift to help with their hump day blues. In the first installment, BJTCK delivered his rendition of The-Dream’s “Fancy” and it has since gained a lot of traction and praise from outlets such as NME, UPROXX, Rated R&B, among others.
2021 has been an active year for the vocal powerhouse. BJTCK has collaborated with the likes of Chika, PJ Morton and was even featured on the soundtrack for the Academy Award-winning film Judas And The Black Messiah. At the end of June, BJTCK also released a track entitled “The Chi,” which was featured on the Showtime original series, The Chi, created by Lena Waithe.
It’s safe to say, BJ The Chicago Kid is officially back like he never left!
