New York’s HDBeenDope Delivers Lyrically Charged Visual For “Best Out”
Brooklyn rapper and producer HDBeenDope drops off a high-energy new music video for single “Best Out,” with a broadcast premiere on BET Jams and BET Hip Hop. The visual, directed by Erikson Corniel, buzzes with the same electric energy HDBeenDope brings with his lyricism and gives off fast-paced momentum mirroring the rapper’s rising career.
The single, released 4/21, has already landed placements on TIDAL’s Tidal Masters: Rising, Tidal Masters: Hip Hop, New East Coast and Apple’s The Plug, New In Hip Hop, Best New Shazam (Japan), and is the #7 spot on their coveted BARS playlist.
HD uses his home city of Brooklyn as his playground in the visual paying respect to his New York roots.
When it comes to bragging rights, you have to show for it. While other artists aborted missions in April 2020, HDBeenDope pushed forward with releasing sophomore album BrokeN Dreams. Despite the pandemic, he maintained consistency and garnered several accolades heading into 2021. HDBeenDope gains yet another foothold in his long-awaited ascent, proudly stating “I don’t need suits just to tell me I’m gifted”

HDBeenDope is a multi-faceted powerhouse in the current wave of hip-hop. From penning clever raps over his own high-octane production to self-directing many of his music videos, the Brooklyn native has spent the past decade refining his craft.
The success of his debut project Pheace Be The Journey was whatfirst earned HD an opening slot on Portugal.The Man’s North America tour in 2017 and sparked his passion for performing. In addition to sharing the stage with the likes of Supa Bwe, Black Milk, and Lil Xan, he has also embarked on several solo tours throughout Europe. In 2019, the young rapper kept the momentum going with successful singles “For The Record,” “Rev Run,” “Byrd,” and “Cayman,” racking up millions of streams across platforms and over 20 million views on YouTube. His 2020 sophomore album BrokeN Dreams also saw wide support across the industry.
HDBeenDope has always been driven by self-made mantras “Labb Rat” (Learn And Become Better, Receive And Think) and “AWYA.” (Accept Who You Are) that remind him of his guiding beliefs. The two sayings play a big role in his writing and his outlook on life where he makes a point to stay focused on feeling and seeing things through the perspective of others.
HDBeenDope’s records have also been the soundtrack to several hit video games like NBA2k, UFC4, Madden NFL 21, and more. His undeniable energy has led him to be featured on MTV’s #AloneTogether Jam Session, Hot97’s Who’s Next, and Shade45’s Wake Up Show with DJ Tech and Sway. He has also landed the cover of TIDAL’s Rising playlist, Apple’s BARS playlist, was Audiomack’s Artist of the Month, and an XXL Freshman Contender in 2020, among other accolades that have propelled him into the spotlight. He continues to trail-blaze through hip-hop culture with his dynamic sound and enigmatic presence and sees 2021 as his year to break through to mainstream.
Hollywood, Florida native Ann-Derie presents the official video for “Maximum Capacity”, the new single from I Am Only Human, her forthcoming album which also spawned “Just Us”, produced by Alvin Speights (R.I.P.), the engineer behind tracks for India Arie, TLC, Keith Sweat and many more.
