@PhilthyRichFOD and @_EastsidePeezy show off the good life in “Ain’t Fair”

Published

on

Life isn’t fair; there are no referees making sure that everyone gets an equal chance at every opportunity. Complaining about it doesn’t change the fact but working harder to compete with those who have it easier is the way to make it as fair as possible. It’s been like that since the dawn of time, and it doesn’t look to change anytime soon. Philthy Rich and Eastside Peezy hone in on this fact in “Ain’t Fair,” a track and visual that showcase what the good life offers even if everyone can’t attain it. We see snapshots of beautiful women, shopping trips, and general recreational merriment. If you’re jealous, don’t be. Work to get towards it. Maybe your life will improve, and the next person could say that your life isn’t fair.

If you aren’t the hating type, watch the video for “Ain’t Fair.”

The song itself makes a lot of sense when you see this because they adhere to its subject matter. They fling their hair too and fro and bring fresh energy to the trap-influenced song that creates an unexpected earworm to carry you well past Hot Girl Summer into the fall.
