@AllStarYoungLee switches it up in “Cash Money Flow”

Published

on

AllStar Lee’s new track “Cash Money Flow” is a welcome switch-up to his chaotic, speedy flow that we’ve come to know and love. Whereas before he rapped frantically and methodically, on this track he’s much slower, deeper, and at a plodding pace. The difference is astounding. Even the production is much more sullen and downtrodden, and, combined with the lower-pitched vocals, makes for a stellar departure from the Detroit sound that we’ve become accustomed to. So much, to say that this new style is actually preferable.

The accompanying visual starts with Lee thinking about leaving the rap game then evolves into a (literally) fiery video full of bravado and swagger. This is an AllStar Lee video that you won’t want to miss.

Published

Pablo Skywalkin’s “Perm Something” relies on FMB DZ’s outrageous chorus to thrive. In return, Skywalkin delivers some top-notch energy raps that showcase his own claim to Detroit’s throne. “Perm Something” is a street banger of the best kind – smooth, confident, and, most importantly, hard. Extremely hard. The loud production is intimate in a sense, with the bass really settling this thing in next-level territory.
