Fresh off the release of his debut album Fallen Angel, Young Stoner Life/300 artist Fase Yoda drops the thrilling new video for his album standout track “Blues.” On the guitar-laden number, an emotional Fase pours out his soul over losing the special lady in his life. The genre-bending project Fallen Angel is a contemplative body of work that illuminates Fased’spirited persona, uniting influences such as Hip-Hop, Emo and R&B with bright melodies and emotionally-charged themes. The album is preceded by a string of pre-releases including “Love Hurts,” “Woah,” “Because Of You,” “Messed Up” and his breakout track “Butterflies.” Stream Fallen Angel here.

Fase Yoda shares, “Fallen Angel was birthed from a toxic relationship. Though it was one of the most vulnerable and depressing moments I’ve experienced, it inspired me to elevate and express myself through music. The trauma helped me grow and I turned my pain into art. It taught me to embrace my emotions and realize that we are not only human but Fallen Angels.”

Fase Yoda emerged onto the scene with his 2021 single “Butterflies” which earned him TikTok acclaim making the song a viral sensation; garnering 8.4 million views on YouTube and over 26 million streams on Spotify alone. From there, Yoda would release his follow-up single “Messed Up” a heartfelt ballad giving a deeper look into the rapper’s darker side. Further growing his fan base, the video for “Messed Up” has accumulated over 2.4 million views on YouTube since its release showing Yoda’s staying power. Passionate about expressing the concept of duality through his music, Yoda describes himself as “half angel and half demon” and with Fallen Angel, he will use his unique storytelling ability to expand on the complexity of the human experience.

Titled “Priceless,” Dell croons over atmospheric production courtesy of Gibbo as he raps about his lady and lifestyle. 

“With this song, I was aiming to capture the spirit of many songs from my old playlist that shaped my taste in music. That’s where I found my inspiration for how I stitched together my melodies. Not to mention, the beat alone already stirred inspiration inside of me. The producer (Gibbo) really did his thing.”
