The Sixth Annual 7 Wonders DJ Battle puts a spotlight on the Impact of Chicago DJ’s

Chicago brought the entire Midwest out at the recent sixth Annual 7 Wonders DJ Battle. After a five-year hiatus, Chicago welcomed the phenomenal event back with open arms. Held at the popular Promontory venue off of Lake Street, the competition was hosted by renowned Dj Nephets of Power 92 Chicago. Bringing together both music and generations, this competition was an unforgettable moment.

A Battle for Generations
Drawing talent and music advocates from all over, the 7 Wonders DJ Battle is becoming one of the most prestigious DJ competitions across the Midwest. Further proving the power of DJ’s, the unique platform showcases creativity and technical mastery. Created by Ashanda Jai Productions, this DJ battle is about so much more than music, it’s about connection and representation.

Throughout the years, legendary Chicago Dj’s like DJ Gemini Jones, Soul Selector DJ MH2DAand other’s have competed at the battle. For the sixth year, Chicago welcomed contestants DJ Trouble Kidd, DJ Ken, DJ YSL, DJ Dolo and The Chicago Rambo. All of the DJ’s brought incredible energy, with a full house in attendance. As the different mixes of classic sounds filled the venue, each DJ proved just how important their presence is. In addition to the outstanding DJ’s, this year’s competition also included a phenomenal line up of judges including DJ Sluggo, DJ AMPM, and Chicago Icons Terry Hunter and George Daniels.

Virginia’s Breeze Barker Kicks Off The Spring With His Triumphant Single “Ring The Alarm”

Breeze Barker (@breezebarker) is a seasoned rap veteran with the energy of a #1 pick in the draft. His new banger “Ring The Alarm” marks a new era for the Portsmouth-raised emcee who has earned his stripes as an emcee throughout his decorated rap career. The horn-laced instrumental pairs perfectly with his signature raspy tone and impeccable flow that has helped him become a staple within the 757 area of Virginia.
