Rising Star Swagg2x Brings a Unique Sound to the Music Industry
Swagg2x, is an artist that has always had music running through his veins. From a young age, his passion for music was ignited by his father. He is who introduced him to musical creations at a church banquet and later in the studio. Since then, Swagg2x continues to be an unstoppable force. In addition to building a lasting legacy in the music industry.
A Passion for Music Ignited Early
Swagg2x’s journey began in 7th grade when he first took the stage in his school talent show. His natural ability to captivate an audience matched with his drive to pursue music as a career was apparent early on. He started gaining recognition in the Chicago area, winning and placing in local talent shows. Over the years, Swagg2x has honed his craft through countless hours of writing and recording timeless music. Often delivering high-energy performances that leave lasting impressions.
Growing up, Swagg2x and his brother KingKay were introduced to classic soul and R&B music by their grandmother. She further taught them iconic dance steps to songs like The Temptations’ “My Girl.” This early exposure to music would lay the foundation for what would become their musical journey. They began performing as a group with friends from their neighborhood, learning about the music business. Additionally, with the guidance of their manager, Trusun, hailing from Atlanta, buzz began to start. This early exposure to music, performance, and management shaped Swagg2x’s approach to his career.
A Global Vision for Music: ChiStyle
In college, Swagg2x moved to Oklahoma, where his musical perspective expanded even further. He was introduced to a range of musical styles, including hip hop, Southern rap, and the regional dance craze known as “Jigging.” These diverse influences helped Swagg2x develop what he calls “ChiStyle,” a fusion of his Chicago roots with the eclectic sounds he encountered in college. This unique sound became the foundation of his music, combining high-energy performance with socially-conscious lyrics and a style all his own.
While in college, Swagg2x also performed in local shows in Louisiana, Oklahoma City, and Atlanta with a group called Street Poets. These experiences expanded his musical horizons and connected him with key figures in the industry. One pivotal moment came when Mr. Crunchy Black of the legendary hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia reached out to collaborate on a song. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in Swagg2x’s career, one that would propel him into the spotlight.

Swagg2x is not only focused on his music career but also on making a significant impact in his community and beyond. Partnering with HYPE Magazine and launching his own digital music platform, TuneClout, Swagg2x aims to revolutionize the music business.
