Lakeyah Is Back With New EP ‘No Pressure Part 2″

Quality Control’s “Female Goat” Lakeyah is back with a new, versatile EP, No Pressure Part 2 [Quality Control Music/Motown Records]. As the direct follow-up to her June release No Pressure Part 1, the EP’s tracklist is led by the hard-hitting anthem “Maneuver” featuring Flo Milli, plus four additional new tracks including “Real Bitch” featuring Memphis rapper Gloss Up, and features from Lucky Daye, Icewear Vezzo, Peezy, Latto, and Layton GreenLakeyah flaunts both Midwest and Atlanta sounds with genre-crossing fluidity throughout No Pressure Part 2, and continues to blend smooth R&B with punching, all-out bars that contend with her QC counterparts. Lakeyah shares: “No Pressure Part 2 is a natural follow up to part one. While I was creating this EP, I wanted it to be a reminder of my lyrical ability and versatility. I have songs for the girls, the culture I represent and a song just in time for cuffing season!”

Since signing to QC, the Milwaukee-born rapper has consistently fed her fans with music–releasing Time’s Up in 2020 and In Due Time in 2021–and landed a spot in XXL’s coveted ‘2021 Freshman Class.’ Her momentum has carried through into 2022 with her milestone signing to Motown Records, the release of the No Pressure EPs with breakout single “Mind Yo Business” [feat. SauceGod Continues ‘Yung And Dumb’ With New Single “Midnight Nostalgia”

After feeding fans with his Yung And Dumb EP back in January, which featured previously released single “Kome On,” Virginia rap vigilante SauceGod returns on the Jofis Beats-produced quick-strike “Midnight Nostalgia.” The laid-back coming of age story set to soothing sonics is centered around the grief that comes with growth.

Born Antonyo Thomas, Sauce is a rising talent hailing from VA. Perfectly blending the genres of Hip-Hop, Pop and Trap-Soul with southern melodies, Sauce creates unique sonics that take listeners on a sonic journey while highlighting his storied past.

In a exclusive press statement to Medium Creative Agency, the Commonwealth creative reveals:

“I made this song during a self reflective season in my life. Having to change my surroundings, heart posture and mind frame from what I was used to, this record served as a pep talk to myself. A reminder it’s ok to evolve into the best version of me.”

Boogie Promotes A&E 2 With New Video “Certified” Featuring P. Lee

Continuing his Ants & Elephants 2 campaign, VA’s Boogie AKA Boogie3x taps R&B vocalist P.Lee for the CheckTheCredits directed clip to “Certified.” The small screen interpretation of the Illien Rosewell, best known for his instrumentation with OutKast’s Big Boi and rising Hip-Hop act Khi Infinite, produced collaboration finds the seasoned wordsmith delivering his signature braggadocious bars while giving a tour of a luxury estate.

Executive produced by Nottz, the sequel to 2017’s ‘Ants & Elephants’ is comprised of 13-tracks and includes features from Mannie Rozay, Treie, Pappa Grande, Mo Breez, Ruqx a Don, and ElzMoneyMuzik. Additional production on the project comes by way of 1500 or Nothin’ sound architect PointGuard, DJ Sparc, The Reloaded Band, CrummieBeats, Don Kevo, and Jimbo Wam.
