KINGMOSTWANTED Makes Musical Moments Feel Monumental on New Album, ‘Time For The Throne’

Published

on

When discussing promising young artists, factors like hometown hero status or social media virality are viewed as strong potential indicators for success in the future. Most up-and-comers can stake their claim as a standout with just one of these elements, but in the rare case of KINGMOSTWANTED who possesses both and more, those indicators are more like warnings. Fittingly, those warnings are embodied by his latest album as best evidenced in its title: Time For The Throne. With his snapping flows and boundless braggadocio, the 8PETOWN rapper has viewed his own success as a given while he’s focused his attention on building a dynasty in the Inland Empire and beyond.

Born out of KING’s unique creative process–he thinks of his rhymes, organizes a flow, and then works with the producer to craft a beat around his words–Time For The Throne bursts with the confidence of a 19-year-old kid convinced his music will take over the world. Featuring recent singles such as the romantic “Couple Questions” and “KUNGFU WARRIOR” ft. AzChike & FrostyDaSnowmannTime For The Throne continues to pave the way for SoCal’s Inland Empire sound; largely influenced by the current L.A scene, but delivered with a spartan demeanor and danceability that makes KING’s growing TikTok fanbase seem nothing short of a natural progression.

The leader of a burgeoning rap scene in the so-called Inland Empire–an area east of Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley that is more populous than nearly every American city–KINGMOSTWANTED has been bubbling in his city since he released his single “No Case” in 2018, when he was just 16. Since then, his star has only continued to rise, taking a leap when he released “In My City,” a hometown banger featuring his 8PETOWN associate MCM Raymond, which generated over 15 million combined streams and over 1 million video creations on TikTok. Since the release of “In My City,” he’s been a favorite on TikTok, with over 173k followers who devour his every release, including Charli D’Amelio-approved “Different Varieties,” and he’s capitalized on his viral success with exciting projects like 2020’s FRESHMAN YEAR, which featured guest spots from AzChike and Quin NFN. With Time For The Throne, KINGMOSTWANTED looks to deliver on the ambitions of his artist name and elevate to elite status on the west coast scene.

Trapland Pat Keeps on Truckin’ in “Road 2 Riches” Video

With star qualities as unmistakable as his wide-eyed, iced out smile, Trapland Pat is cruising in a lane of his own. Returning with a full tank of gas and an endless supply of tropical vibes, the South Florida sensation shares his new video single, “Road 2 Riches.” Anchored by an instrumental from frequent collaborator Pepper Jack Zoe that makes steel drums resonate like organ pipes in a cathedral, “Road 2 Riches” finds Pat on a Waze route to the bag, with no time for detours: “They like, ‘Trap, you should scam,’ I’m like, ‘Scam why?’/23 hours for them birdies, that’s a damn job.”

The KillerJack-directed video for “Road 2 Riches” leans into its automotive imagery at full throttle, as Pat’s diamond-studded smirk and Peterbilt rig turn I-95 into Ice Road Truckers. Making a pit stop to stock up on essentials like styrofoam cups and bundles of Black and Milds before embarking on his journey, Pat’s locks in once he gets behind the wheel. He’s got a long way to go and a short time to get there, but he’s money-bound, so watch Trapland run it up.

“Road 2 Riches” follows recent cuts like “Z Land” and “Vibes” as Pat’s first new music since he shared the acclaimed Trapnificent mixtape this past summer. Pat’s first release for Bang Biz and Alamo Records, Trapnificent rolls out the red carpet for a tasteful selection of guests, including Fredo Bang, who signed Pat to his imprint Bang Biz and appears twice on the tape, Sacramento street hero Mozzy, NYC Winners Circle maestro Eli Fross, and Memphis’ own BIG30Trapnificent earned praise from Pitchfork, who called the project a “zippy distillation of his regional roots” and said that Pat’s music is “extremely regionally and culturally specific, like so much exciting and promising new rap music.”

Ready to bring his searing street raps to a larger audience, Trapland Pat has the goods to be Broward County’s next big star.

Published

Heir Jordan is a profound lyricist from the tri-state who implores pristine music that stems from real life experiences. The single we liked the most is “Out Of Town.” One word to describe it is fire!

It’s a good representation of the whole project and should set Heir Jordan to be in a good position overall going forward musically. The New Jersey product has a interesting background.

From the Silk City aka Paterson, NJ, Heir Jordan aka D. Jordan Wash is a Thirty-year-old Hip-Hop phenom. The rapper elicits a depth of skill well beyond what is expected of any age. After years of crafting his skill with Open Mics, Mixtape features “Heir Jordan” released his first album called Makeup>Sex released under Bleuprint. The album was a success for the unknown rapper because he fused great audio with stunning visuals in the film adaptation of the album.

Initially, the film was his way of breaking through the noise of the 60K songs released per day, But it has since become his calling card. Both received great praise and attention from his hometown and the surrounding cities.

With a creative mind and a good heart in his body Heir Jordan makes music for the everybody to relate to.
