Dro Kenji Shares New Single “Vanish,” Announces 10-Date” “With Or Without You Tour,” Tickets On Sale Now

Published

on

In a matter of months, Dro Kenji went from being a budding South Carolina rapper making songs on Audition to a rap star backed by the likes of Taz TaylorNick Mira, and the rest of the Internet Money collective. His seamless blend of emo and alt-pop sounds with soul-crushing, relatable lyricism have laid the foundation upon which Kenji continues to build his flourishing career. Today, he returns with unfiltered emotion and raw vocal prowess in full effect on new single, “Vanish,” from WITH OR WITHOUT YOU, his upcoming album expected to drop in January 2022.

Featuring somber, dreamlike production from Danny Wolf and Earl On The Beat, Dro Kenji haggles with his hurt and searches for respite as he croons, “Deep inside, I lowkey wish our memories would vanish/My heart barely beat no more, it can’t take no more damage,” on the track’s hook. The verses, however, paint a much more frantic picture, with Kenji flexing his rap prowess as he rabidly ruminates on the pain he can’t escape, maniacally moving between topics of loss, lust, grief, and gunplay.

Along with the release of “Vanish,” Kenji announces the “WITH OR WITHOUT YOU Tour,” a 6-date mini-tour with special guests. The South Carolina native’s tour starts in Charlotte on November 26th, before heading to NYC, Atlanta, L.A., and Dallas, and ending at Rolling Loud California in December. The tour will welcome special guests, including TyFontaineScoreyPrettifun, and Highway. Tickets for “WITH OR WITHOUT YOU Tour” are on sale now.

The release of “Vanish” marks the first new release from Kenji since the release of his fourth project, F*CK YOUR FEELINGS, this past summer, which saw the rapper flex and reflect over 16 tracks of expansive Internet Money production, and features highlights like “SUPERSTAR” and “TRANCE.” With over 25 million streams on Spotify since its release in June, F*CK YOUR FEELINGS is available everywhere via Internet Money Records/MiraTouch/10k Projects.

Stay tuned for much more from Dro Kenji in the coming months.

Trapland Pat Keeps on Truckin’ in “Road 2 Riches” Video

With star qualities as unmistakable as his wide-eyed, iced out smile, Trapland Pat is cruising in a lane of his own. Returning with a full tank of gas and an endless supply of tropical vibes, the South Florida sensation shares his new video single, “Road 2 Riches.” Anchored by an instrumental from frequent collaborator Pepper Jack Zoe that makes steel drums resonate like organ pipes in a cathedral, “Road 2 Riches” finds Pat on a Waze route to the bag, with no time for detours: “They like, ‘Trap, you should scam,’ I’m like, ‘Scam why?’/23 hours for them birdies, that’s a damn job.”

The KillerJack-directed video for “Road 2 Riches” leans into its automotive imagery at full throttle, as Pat’s diamond-studded smirk and Peterbilt rig turn I-95 into Ice Road Truckers. Making a pit stop to stock up on essentials like styrofoam cups and bundles of Black and Milds before embarking on his journey, Pat’s locks in once he gets behind the wheel. He’s got a long way to go and a short time to get there, but he’s money-bound, so watch Trapland run it up.

“Road 2 Riches” follows recent cuts like “Z Land” and “Vibes” as Pat’s first new music since he shared the acclaimed Trapnificent mixtape this past summer. Pat’s first release for Bang Biz and Alamo Records, Trapnificent rolls out the red carpet for a tasteful selection of guests, including Fredo Bang, who signed Pat to his imprint Bang Biz and appears twice on the tape, Sacramento street hero Mozzy, NYC Winners Circle maestro Eli Fross, and Memphis’ own BIG30Trapnificent earned praise from Pitchfork, who called the project a “zippy distillation of his regional roots” and said that Pat’s music is “extremely regionally and culturally specific, like so much exciting and promising new rap music.”

Ready to bring his searing street raps to a larger audience, Trapland Pat has the goods to be Broward County’s next big star.

Heir Jordan Releases ‘Cocaine Circus Deluxe Edition’ EP

Published

Heir Jordan is a profound lyricist from the tri-state who implores pristine music that stems from real life experiences. The single we liked the most is “Out Of Town.” One word to describe it is fire!

It’s a good representation of the whole project and should set Heir Jordan to be in a good position overall going forward musically. The New Jersey product has a interesting background.

From the Silk City aka Paterson, NJ, Heir Jordan aka D. Jordan Wash is a Thirty-year-old Hip-Hop phenom. The rapper elicits a depth of skill well beyond what is expected of any age. After years of crafting his skill with Open Mics, Mixtape features “Heir Jordan” released his first album called Makeup>Sex released under Bleuprint. The album was a success for the unknown rapper because he fused great audio with stunning visuals in the film adaptation of the album.

Initially, the film was his way of breaking through the noise of the 60K songs released per day, But it has since become his calling card. Both received great praise and attention from his hometown and the surrounding cities.

With a creative mind and a good heart in his body Heir Jordan makes music for the everybody to relate to.
