Big Moochie Grape & Key Glock Make Power Moves in “Breakdance”

Big Moochie Grape refuses to let a single bag escape his grasp. Maneuvering to the money by any means necessary, Moochie reunites with fellow Memphis native and Paper Route Empire signee, Key Glock, to share his latest video for “Breakdance,” a highlight from his East Haiti Baby project. While Bandplay’s haunting, albeit charged-up production evokes imagery of a haunted mansion-turned-traphouse, Moochie and Glock trade bars like Halloween candy: “VVS diamonds on big Glock breakdance,” raps Glock, as Moochie responds, “Post in the trap and I serve Lindsay Lohan.” The video for “Breakdance” finds the PRE playmakers counting big stacks in a battered building scattered with rubble from blown out concrete walls. The scene might not always be pretty but if the bag is there, Moochie’s never far behind.
Aided by signature Tennessee-style production from Bandplay, Sosa 808, Ayoza, and more, the tape chronicles Moochie’s rise from the trap to the top, showcasing the street acumen and sly grin that has him rising in his city and beyond. East Haiti Baby is home to Moochie’s ice-cold singles “I’m The One” and “Never Had Sh*t,” each of which earned well over 1.5 million views on Youtube in recent weeks. Continuing a dominant year for Paper Route Empire as they honor Young Dolph‘s legacy, Moochie enlists Key Glock and Kenny Muney for features, and shares a new verse from Dolph himself on mixtape highlight “Fun.” Whether he’s bouncing over a Bill Withers’ sample on “East Haiti Baby,” belting out cash-crazed melodies on “Money Money Money,” or swapping spitfire flows with Dolph, the Memphis native’s colorful charisma is felt throughout the 15-track tape.
Big Moochie Grape burst onto the scene in 2020 with Eat Or Get Ate, an hard-hitting EP that earned coverage in XXL, UPROXX, 2DopeBoyz, HotNewHipHop, and more. Home to singles like “Big Juice” and “Uh Huh Uh Huh Uh Huh” (4.5 million views), Eat Or Get Ate established Moochie as one of PRE’s most valuable players. The rapper returned with a vengeance on Paper Route Empire’s PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi mixtape, turning in highlight tracks like “Illuminati Business” and “Non Stop” (1.4 million views), and made his mark on Paper Route Empire Presents: Long Live Dolph, delivering the powerful and defiant “In Dolph We Trust“ (1.5 million YouTube views).
With East Haiti Baby, Big Moochie Grape is determined to hit it big and keep Paper Route Empire’s winning streak going. Stay tuned for more in the coming weeks.

A cut from the upcoming Hood Hottest Princess (Deluxe), “Free My N***a” adds an exclamation mark to Sexyy’s breakout 2023, marked by sold out dates, Hot 100-charting hits, and superstar co-signs. Sexyy’s breakout hit, the Tay Keith-produced “Pound Town,” spent multiple weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, reached the Top 10 on Urban Radio, and its Nicki Minaj-featuring remix “Pound Town 2,” earned a GOLD certification from the RIAA. Sexyy’s follow-up hit, “SkeeYee,” has risen even further, generating over 50 million streams across platforms, and reaching a peak of #66 on the Billboard Hot 100. Sexyy reached her highest chart peak yet with her appearance on Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy,” also featuring SZA, a smooth Miami bass-influenced heatrock that currently sits at #14on the Hot 100.
A relentless barrage of twerkable anthems, Hood’s Hottest Princess builds upon Sexyy’s brash and unapologetic persona. The mixtape earned a sterling 8.0 review from Pitchfork, who wrote that the mixtape “sets the tone for what she hopes is the nastiest, sweatiest, and freakiest summer since the smartphone came along” and “…30 minutes of straight-up standing-on-the-table raps. There are a handful of songs on here that are bound to be summertime anthems.” Home to other hits like “Looking For The H*es (Ain’t My Fault),” and “Hellcats SRTs,” blessed with a remix featuring Lil Durk, Hood Hottest Princess is climbing the Billboard 200, where it reached a new peak of #75 this week, and Apple Music’s charts, where it is currently sitting at #7 on the Hip-Hop albums chart and #12 overall. Hood Hottest Princess is available everywhere via Open Shift/gamma.
Sexyy’s viral rise quickly fomented success on the touring front. After a viral performance at Rolling Loud Miami, Sexyy Red earned an invitation to open on tour for her biggest fan, Drake, during his “It’s All A Blur Tour” with 21 Savage. Sexyy’s first headlining tour, the “Hood Hottest Princess Tour,” sold out many dates within minutes of its initial onsale, including a 3,000-cap show in NYC and a 4,850-cap show in Chicago. The tour criss-crossed the U.S. for dozens of dates–including 24 sold out dates–including a massive sold out hometown show at the 8,000-capacity Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis.
