Airplane James Released “NUNU” Video, ‘Lowkey Hurt’ Out Now

LA rapper Airplane James released the official video for “NUNU,” following the release of his Lowkey Hurt EP via Diamond Lane Music Group last week (April 13). The wordsmith’s second project of 2022 was met with critical acclaim, as XXL highlights “the Lowkey Hurt EP sees Airplane James showing off his impressive rhyme skills.” The new project, and “NUNU” specifically, is an ode to LA women who have had Plane’s heart since the beginning. “NUNU” is available everywhere now – watch the video HERE.
On the carefully crafted 8-song EP, Plane showcases his unmatched pen and lyrical prowess, featuring no assists. One of his most vulnerable offerings yet, the project highlights production from Plane’s go-to producers, SoundsLikeTC, T. Reg, and DJ Icee.The project’s release comes behind the release of lead single “Before,” showcasing Plane’s versatility and vulnerability as both an artist and a writer. ‘Lowkey Hurt’ is available everywhere now.
Lowkey Hurt, follows the release of Plane’s last EP Who The Fuck Is Airplane James 2. Plane released the January EP after he scored the highest on A Day In LA’s The New LA Rap Report Card (B-).WTF2 features remixes for 2020’s “Impress Me,” with an assist from fellow hometown heat-seeker Bino Rideaux, and 2021’s “100 Bandz” featuring Diamond Lane label-mates, Bad Lucc and Problem. With multiple projects under his belt and more on the horizon, Airplane James is gearing up for a breakout year.

GwalaBoy Phlyy Drops “Heavy Motion”

Born Marcius Cleophas and raised in North Miami, GwalaBoy Phlyy is a motivated multi-disciplinary who has been carving out a lane for himself his whole life. Raised by a single mother and a distant drug dealer father, he cites Gucci Mane, Future, Money Man, 2Pac, and Lil Wayne as early influences and began to record music of his own in 7th grade; but really started taking music seriously around 2019. The following year he got his first big break by way of a feature from Roc Nation recording artist Bobby Fishscale. Other notable industry figures GB has worked with include ATL Jacob, Sauce Walka, Jackboy, Fredo Bang, and Zoey Dollaz.
Continuing his Going Colossal campaign, spearheaded by the Bobby Fishscale-collaboration “Cartier,” and following a recent Dirty Glove Bastard ‘Off The Porch‘ interview, Hatian Hip-Hop authority GwalaBoy Phlyy (@GwalaBoy_Phlyy) makes his way back to the small-screen in the official music video for “Heavy Motion.” Directed by Ntro4k Studios, the HD-clip for “Heavy Motion” finds the Florida based rap act practicing what he preaches; flexing foreign cars, jewelry, and designer drip.
