Video Spotlight: Lil Debbie’s “Goyard” is surprisingly good

Published

on

Lil Debbie gets a lot of flack for a lot of things that are her fault. She’s can be very corny at times, and her music hasn’t always been historically good. She’s been working diligently at her craft and has released a new track called “Goyard” that’s….uh, good actually.  She’s using autotune, of course, but it’s not overbearing, nor is it annoying. It’s akin to the goldilocks approach – she’s seen it used too little and too much so she manages to nail it just right. The visual is pretty dweeby, admittedly. She’s created copies of herself who all dance in tune with her singing, like a weird Power Rangers routine. While the video isn’t all that creative, the song itself is surprisingly good. For her, I guess that’s all that matters.

At your own risk, check out Lil Debbie’s “Goyard” below.
