LMF Polo talks about his spending habits in “Blow It”

Published

on

The somber piano riff in “Blow It” may initially make you think that the song is sadder fare, but, on the contrary, it’s rather positive. The occasion on hand is getting a bag; do you spend it or blow it? LMF Polo tells you that he blows it, followed by apologizing for his treatment towards women. It’s an interesting setup that comes across as unique and telling of his financial situation. The come-up makes people’s outlook on life change, and reflecting on the past usually helps to determine the next steps. LMF Polo’s “Blow It” may not explicitly tackle these concepts, but it does a damn good job in making sense of them.

In the visual for the song smoother than usual song, Akhil Sesh loads on copious amounts of special effects that showcase a drive to be eclectic. It works, too.
